With out the model its a bit hard to guess, as there are many engine combinations like a V4
but if it is a straight 4 cylnder , as you sit on the bike the left cylnder and carb is the first, counting across to the right the right hand is number 4

1997 3cyl 25HP Evinrude outboard Would changing the carbs to 35HP carbs make this a 35HP motor?

Depends if the bore and stroke are the same, if they are not, adding larger jetted carbs can result in always running rich. The mixture would be incorrect for the amount of air the cylinders take in.

Johnson 70hp model number A J70TLESB it starts fine and revs up neutral; ok but was lacking speed unless the ckoke is held in.then just stopped, will start and rev up but die when put in gear

I had a Evinrude 70 with the same problem. The cause was a connecting rod that wasn't clipped on the carb linkages. It is just to the left of the automatic choke. Unless this little clip is in place, you are only operating on one carb. Operate the throttle and make sure all three carbs are moving.

Holding the choke in, overgasses that one carb that is working fine.

I have a picture on my computer at home. Let me know by way of COMMENT under my post if you want to see it.

How to adj the set screw on the bottom of carb on a 125 Suzuki 3wheeler

Greetings, Kenny. I'm guessing you are referring to the air/fuel adjustment *****. Most small engines will perform quite well with the ***** turned out one and a half to three turns. Seldom is this adjustment the reason for hard-starting or poor performance, however. To resolve carbureter problems you may remove the ***** from the carb and shoot some carb cleaner up into the carb. Turn the ***** clockwise for a lean mix; counter-clockwise for a richer mixture. I would check the big three first of all. Spark, compression and fuel. Sounds like you have spark and fuel. I would get a compression tester to check actual amount of compression. If all three of those things are good I would check valve lash. You will need make, model and serial number of engine. If you post these I can help find specs for you. Good luck.

When syncing the carbs on a 1991 Honda CBR 600 F2 there are only three adjusting screws to adjust them but there are four carbs on the bike. So how am I to sync the carbs with only three screws?

There are only three adjusting screws because you are adjusting them to the fourth, if you could adjust all four the possibilities would be infinite.

My 2001 yamaha 125l ttr having a fuel issue.fuel sqirted in through air intake, bike runs, throtle respondsive, couple seconds only.maybe dismantle carb and blow out.appreciate any insight.thank you.

ALWAYS have a fire extinguisher on hand when working on carburetors. Drain the carburetor. There should be a screw on the lower side of the carb float bowl. Remove the screw then replace it after the fuel drains then remove the carburetor from the engine.

Remove the float bowl and soak the entire carb in denatured alcohol for 30 minutes. Now clean the entire carb with a spray carb cleaner from the auto parts store. Wear protective goggles to avoid getting spray in your eyes. Spray into all the little airways and fittings in the carb. Remove the "blue" items on the
carb and spray into the screw holes as well. Don't mess with #16 but if you must, be sure to count the number of turns and replace the same number of turns.

Be sure to put all screws back in the same hole they came out of. IMPORTANT > do not tighten #8 and #12 adjusters down. Only screw these in until they LIGHTLY seat. Now turn each adjuster one and one half turns outward. Put the rest of the
carb back together, clean the air filter and install the carb. Let the float bowl fill then start the engine.
