Please can you tell me the year of a Kubota KX121-3SS excavator Serial number 30896 ?? Brian

here is a link for Kubota that may help you. It uses the engine serial # to tell you when the engine was built. It doesn't tell you when the engine was installed, though, but it should be very close to the same.>

I have a troybilt automatic rider model # 14bv809h063 and the serial # is 1e150h10509. what year was it built what sparkplug do i use and what is the sparkplug gap. thank you

2000 or 2001. Need engine label plate data and I can tell you when the date the engine was manufactured which is a pretty good way to get the year the mower was made. Gap will be .030 inches. Looks like you have a Briggs and Stratton Intek Twin engine, but as is most common the details of the engine get looked up by the engine model and type number, not show on the equipment drawings. If you provide then I can look it up for you. You can also take the model and type number to the local small engine repair and parts shop and they will have it.

The cool thing about B&S is that on the tag or the stamping there is a model number, type number, and a code number. The model and type are needed to look up the drawings for your engine, but the cool thing is the code is short for date code. It is expressed with 8 digits. The first 2 are the last two of the year. The second 2 are the month. The third 2 are the day. So a code of 010422xx ffor example would indicate that the engine was made 2001, april, 22.

I have a 1999 titan gecko I'm trying to find out what size motor it has. when I bought it dealer says it is the playboy edition how can i find out for sure? engine serial #zc 2534 the vin#...

Hi Jltransport_ here is how it breaks down for the VIN #
5=Made In The USA
TM=Titan Motorcycle
B=Rubber Mounted Engine
4=104 to 114 Cubic Inches
4=111 to 125 Horsepower
0=Check Digit
X=Year 1999
C=Plant Location-Phoenix Arizona
000=Models 1999 And Later
937=Sequencial Production Number
Here is how the S&S engine serial # breaks down
Z=Year 1999
C=4 Inch Bore Special Application Crankcases
2534=Build Sequence Number
You have to call S&S in Viola, Wisconsin 866-244-2673 and give them the build sequence number and they will tell you what size the engine started out as. Good luck and have a nice day.

Please advise heating/cooling capacity for carrier quietline air conditioner vertical through wall model 25 years old model number unknown Thanks

Hello rgar919,

It is imposible to tell you the capacity of the unit without some kind of numbers to find out what it is. They made more than one unit 25 years ago. The numbers off the compressor may help to find the size of the unit. Please try and find some sort of model or serial number, compressor number, fan motor number something that can be cross referenced.

Thank you for choosing FixYa.
