Either under seat or by starter or mounted on frame by starter. And it is a relay not a switch.Trace wire back from starter and it will leed you to solenoid (the positive side).

My s50 Suzuki 800 boulevard is totally dead , no juice at all , was running great , I started it and starter got stuck engaged , now nothing

Disconnect the battery... remove the starter and have it checked.. this will tell you why the starter got stuck...(if there is nothing wrong with the starter... the solenoid is bad...).. charge your battery while the starter is being checked....

I have a Suzuki Boulevard S50 and i have changed the solenoid because i thought that was the problem but it wasnt. every time i hit the switch to start the bike all the lights dim but the bike wont start

The starter button is supposed to turn off the lights during the start. The new solenoid means that is OK. That means the starter is the problem. Tap on the starter with a plastic hammer, back of a screwdriver, etc., if the starter works now you just need new starter brushes. If the armature is shorted, the end cap bearings worn, the magnets broken, etc. then you will need to replace the starter assembly. Only the brushes are available as spare parts to fix the starter.

Why make this complicated? Take your serial number and proof of ownership to the Suzuki Dealer, and let them make you a new key.
