Question about 1999 Suzuki GSX-R 600
Changing front tire has nothing to do with your bike not starting! first start by turning the key to the on position, do the lights come on bright? turns sigs Etc, work normally, hit hi beam, does it work, if yes then i would guess your battery does have enough juice to turn it over. Since you said it was running fine before this i doubt its a fuel problem but check your fuel pump fuse just to insure! if fuse is good then its time to get out the meter pull off the seat and take a voltage reading across the battery terminals. if it reads only 12.1v or less, it needs a trickle charge for about 5 hours. Batteries only last about two to three years! if you charge it and it starts!! but sputters when you ride it, then change the battery its going bad!
