Unit cruze hard starting, and code 79,coming heat

Found on the Internet:

"I have had my Chev Cruze 1.8 (Manual) for about 4 months now. At about 4500 km's - I got a fault codE 79 as a warning. I checked the oil out of curiosity & it had dropped to the halfway mark. When I took it to the dealer, they said there was a modification to a fuel pipe. However, after they changed the fuel pipe, I still received this error code. In the mean time, I noticed drops/lags in power, especially when driving uphill & also when using climate control. The next time I took the car in (about 8100km), I noticed the oil had dropped to almost the bottom mark. I told the maintenance guy about this & they just filled up the oil. He didn't think it had anything to do with the fault code. I haven't had the fault code reappear since then. I still haven't got a satisfactory response about the fault code (what it means) - they say that the software was updated. I was also told taht its normal for the vehicle to use oil! About 1 litre/pint per 1000 km's"

and this:

Code 79 Top up engine oil. All information is given in the Owners Manual

See this!

Chev Cruze 1 8 Manual Code E79 Cruze 1 6L 1 8L

and this:

it was happened to my car while it was only 9 th. km , and first day. "code 79"
service checked oil stick and oil sensor cable. than "code 79" signed again.

SEE YOUR SENSOR HERE (item 27):

Electrical Senders for 2014 Chevrolet Cruze
Original GM Engine Oil Pressure Sensor Switch Unit new OEM 55581588 MAY be your part number?

*** yA know... seems MANY people are having problems with "this sensor" and perhaps GM needs to replace or design one that is more compatible with this car engine?

Also I noted MANY COMPLAINTS about "high oil usage" ~ so perhaps this 'early warning' is better?

WHAT IS THE KM. LIMIT FOR SUB FRAME RECALL

I was the one posting all over the internet about the letter Chrysler sent me but it doesn't do any good. If the car was from the rust prone states and was built in a few months during a certain year they will replace it. I got mine replaced under the care warranty I bought when I got the car but after a month they sent me a letter that they were covered for 150,000 miles and returned my co pay. Then my other Pacifica cradle went out and I called and told them I would sue them if they didn't replace it and I would have. It cost me 250 dollars on the second Pacifica. There is no recall at the time because no one has died yet from the engine and transmission dropping to the ground and losing the steering and brakes ( the brake lines go across the cradle) The dealership that replaced the cradle forgot the large washers that hold the rubber bushings that hold up the cradle and as I was driving I lost all steering as the rubber bushing ripped out of the engine cradle in the back the cradle was an inch off the ground. The dealer said it was their best man and he would never forget the washers. It was towed back to the dealer and all new parts were put on for free but I bet Chrysler didn't know anything about it. If I had been on the expressway like I was earlier in the day I could have been killed

Why *** i need to change cam belt and tensioner at rhe same time? is it a must

You buy a complete kit

That includes the water pump, timing belt, all
idler pulley's ,so you don't have to go back
there when the water pump fails

Just like you replace brake hardware, sometimes,
as it rusts, wears & heat cycles

You do your belt at 140,000 km (84,000 miles) about
every 7 years (12,000 per year)

My Alto VXR 2004 has a problem that its engine oil is getting lesser fast in quantity. I am using Zic A as engine oil.local car mechanic says engine weak he says gas kit and engine head problem

is is odometer reading?
all cars burn oil if driven real fast, at 80mph, lots.
what i need is ,
1: speeds driven. avg.
2: and what weight, oil , is it hot there, sure, then run 10w-40 oil.
3: how many liters of oil per miles.
some cars go for years, burning 1quart of oil per 3000 mile.s
1L/5000 km to 1L /1000 km. (new car to old)
even more. on older engines.
if the engine runs good, drive it and change oil more often.
check oil at every petrol fill up, and learn what your engine needs
all engine burn oil by design. its a fact.

do an engine compression test.
2 times wide open throttle.
on a warm engine
if lower that spec, 150psi?
then add 1 teaspoon, of oil to spark hole , see if compression rises
if it does, its rings are old.
post the numbers, if all are 150 or more , drive it like you stole it.
half joking there, but drive it. and change oil often and check oil levels
every fill up or every other (depends on reality)

GASKET.
post the compression test readings. only NUMBERS count.
we need numbers and engine size.

What engine oil is the best for used Hyudai Tucson 2.7v6 with 158k Km milage?

aside from the owner manual or asking a parts store I would talk to a local dealer or even a repair shop--you have a good question but I suspect there may not be one answer.

Climate and driving conditions and such may have to be considered.

What happend my 650bmw 40000 needs new engine out of warraty

Hi,
If you have a paperwork trail for the oil leaks and that you've told them, open a call/case w/the BMW USA - not the dealer.

And for $12,000 you may want to hire a lawyer.

Bmw 530i model 2001 230000 km i have to add l liter oil per 10 day due to oil leak. no oil spot under car but the mechanic told me the rubber between engine and gear box is leaking and no smoke. can...

STP won't stop the leak, only disassembling and replacing the seal. However, the car could be burning oil but the catalytic converter will complete the combustion of the 'smoke' to water (H2O) and Carbon Dioxide (CO2).

At 230,000 KM, I wouldn't be surprised that the rings are worn or the valve seals are leaking internally.
