The bike cant handle the ethanol is the gas. clean your plug, and top of piston, if access to, And use stay-bill in you gas.Just so you know, its all engines. Just cause it runs fine now, over time it will cause problems. Run stay-bill in then all.

What could have happen to my car i have notice oil inside the Spark plugs what could have happen to my car?

There is always an oily _looking_ deposit on spark plugs if the spark plug was removed after a short run. It is actually unburnt fuel.

Try this, take the car for a good run of say 30 minutes. Come home and remove the plugs hot. The tips should be a straw colour. The hollow cavity is often black.

If they are oily, install new plugs and check them after a week. If they are still black and oily, my guess is that either the bore is worn or the oil scraper piston ring is letting oil past it.

Does it consume oil, does it smoke after idling and then when you boot it at traffic lights?

Ford laser 99 no power

Hi there.
well when you throttle up to about 2000rpm do you get blue smoke coming out the exhaust. When driving on flat road will it power up as normal with out missing or getting hot.
what colour was the old spark plugs were they black or light brown.
When you start engine and run for 3 minutes then let it idle and remove oil filler cap do you get smoke coming out.
Number 1 if yes then engine is lacking power due to piston rings worn answer rebuild engine.
Number2 spark plugs brown [good] if black soot as num1.
Number 3 if you get black smoke or blue ,then the engine is lacking compression could be your problem as num1

New head and gasket now engine smokes

On petrol engines, the presence of black smoke from exhaust indicates that the air / fuel is not correct. If we check and find the spark plugs on them a layer of black smoke, so no air is uncertain.
The fix is very simple: replace the filter element from the air filter, clean or replace the spark plugs and, if necessary, adjust the air intake flap from. Black smoke usually disappears after the first fixes (replacing the air filter and clean or replace the spark plugs can be done even by the driver.

#2 spark plug black all others clean

The spark plug is fouled. Without seeing it, its hard to tell from what. With a heavy black coating, this sounds like it is getting fouled by oil. This can be caused by poor oil control due to worn piston rings, or it can be caused by leaky valve seals.

Spark plug keeps going black on my aprilla sr50

Hi, Anonymous and the usual suspects are:
1. Fuel mixture too rich or enrichner left out too long.
2. Incorrect spark plugs for your kind of service.
3. Piston rings badly worn or broken.
4. Valve guides are badly worn and/or seals worn, crushed or have come off valve guide and pump oil through it.

1. blown head gasket.
2. faulty piston ring.
3. cracks/leaks in the cylinder head. this is quite serious.

possible solutions for number 3 are:

Rough idling and alot of black smoke.i have 4 white spark plugs and 4 black ones. could it be an oxy.sensor?

the ones that are white.. means your burning coolant so that side of the engine has a leaking head gasket.. as for the 4 black ones.. that most likely means your burning oil, and the black smoke indicates burning oil as well.. that could be bad piston rings, valve seals, bad pcv valve... it could be all those things....

My 02 honda accord is loosing exsessive oil I have to pour a quart in every week. Don't see it on the ground or anywhere else. Not coming out of the tail pipe where did it go and how do i fix it.

what it probably is is you need new piston rings. the oil is splashed up from the crank case onto the bottom of the pistons, which keeps them lubricated. the piston rings are what seal the combustion chamber off from the crank case and when they go bad, oil gets into the combustion chamber and is burned.

White smoke

Sounds like you've got a leaking head gasket. Check your coolant and see if there's any black gunk in it, if there is you for sure have a leaking head gasket.
