How much power steering fluid is required upon rebuild and pump replacement?

If you replaced the rack and pinion, it takes about a quart. To purge the air out, Fill the reservoir to the top of the pump, unplug the coil pack. Crank the engine and turn the wheel left and right. Watch the reservoir so you don't make it over flow, The fluid will rise and fall as you turn it. Turn it about 10 times, check and refill the same. Do it again. Two times usually purges the air, three times always purges the air. Plug the coils up, start the car. turn the wheel all the way left and right, check fluid. Should be ready to go.

I have a 1967 Plymouth Valiant. I want to change the front suspension parts. What Do I need? It looks like everything needs replaced.

Get a rebuild kit from PST online. They have kits for a stock rebuild,or you can upgrade to polyurethane bushings, heavy duty adjusting sleeves, etc. Getting everything in one kit makes it easier, and also overall cheaper. You an also get some application specific tools(like the special Mopar upper balljoint socket) that can make things easier.

the only audi/vw/seat/skoda car,(all part of the vw group,)worth buying is a NEW one, unless you are capable of rebuilding the front suspension of ALL these makes of cars.if you have a relative who can work on these cars, then great,as do i.THAT IS WHY, IN EUROPE, THEY ONLY HAVE A 60,000 MILE WARRANTY.COS AFTER THAT,THEY KNOW ITS GONNA COST THE CUSTOMER A FORTUNE,AND WHO MAKES THE PARTS?????
QUESTION ???why is it dealers will only take back part exchanges less than 5yrs old/50k.??????AUDI POLICY.....

No problem I was just wondering if it is wise to rebuild the auto transmission on my 2001 outback limited.. 156,000 mi its in amazing shape new cat converters, suspension, tires, head gasket, timing belt,...

If it's not broken, don't fix it. Or, fix it until it is broken. Since rebuilding a transmission is a very complicated process and takes hours to do correctly, many rebuilds fail very quickly because they are rushed. Unless you personally know someone that will take their time (expect to pay a premium) then a rebuild will likely fail on you too.
