Typically your Signal fuse supplies all the above mentioned items....go to your main fuse box and check for the Signal fuse being blown.

Cruise Control Description and Operation (4.2L)
Cruise Control Description and Operation (5.3L)

Your vehicle has electronic throttle control (drive by wire ) do you know what this is. Complex electronic's invloved . The cruise control switches are located on the multifunction/turn signal lever.
The powertrain control module (PCM) monitors the signal circuits of the cruise control switches in order to determine when to capture and maintain the selected vehicle speed. The PCM uses the throttle actuator control (TAC) module motor in order to control the vehicle speed. For further information on the TAC System, refer to Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) System Description in Engine Controls - 4.2 L.

The PCM will engage and adjust vehicle speed based on the information received from the TAC module via the UART serial data link. For further information on the TAC system, refer to Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) System Description in Engine Controls - 4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L.

Your best bet , take your vehicle to a qualified repair shop that has the knowledge an diagnostic scanner to trouble shoot your problem .
Complex electronic's involved .definitely need a factory or professional type scan tool .

Sounds like the wires have been plugged in wrong. You should be able to find schematics online for it. Here is a link to one place that may have what you're looking for.

This is fore a Kawasaki but they should have the one you want or at least the same make, witch would use the same color wires for things.
Also if you check the other end of the vehicle and see what wire go to what you may find the answer there. Good luck StehpehJP

Check engine light----speed control

Sound like a problem with the vehicle speed sensor; if your check engine light is on, then I suggest scanned the computer to know exactly what fault code is stored there.

Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I`ll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

2005 Honda VT 750 Shadow Aero license plate light and tail light not working

Hi, Anonymous tail light issues are relatively easy to diagnose and repair always check the tail light fuse first and make sure you have power on both sides of the fuse holder and the usual suspects are:
1. Tail light bulb element is broken.
2. Tail light bulb soldered contacts are extremely worn down.
3. Tail light bulb socket corroded.
4. Tail light bulb socket has no power and or ground.
5. Tail light wiring harness damaged from the rear tire.
6. Tail light rear fender wiring harness connector faulty due to corroded, broken, or loose pins/sockets.

My 95 chevy tahoe has new tranny shifts fine when its cold but once it heats up the speed ometer and tac dont work it shifts like ****

Sounds like you have an electrical problem. Your truck should have a 4l60E in it, which is controlled by the PCM. If the speed signal is missing it will shift poorly and at the wrong times. Check the connection and wires at the vehicle speed sensor on the drivers side of the tailshaft housing. If this is something that started occurring after the the transmission was replaced look for pinched wires or other damage to the wires that may have been done during the installation. I've seen some sloppy transmission shops damage things or leave stuff loose so just go over everything.
