Check the handlebar and side stand kill switches for proper operation. Out of gas? Check the fuses with a meter. Drain the fuel system as water may be contaminating the fuel. Did the battery develop an internal short? Check the wire connections on the ignition system.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

The most common problem is the deflection board. You can get the Deflection board PSB-260 from www.tvrepairworld.com the replacement board comes with a CD with instructions for the board removal and replacement

1995 olds cutless is it my transmission

oil condition could be a problem
I am inclined to think that you took the car to an auto spares shop that does free fault codes reading, you will find that it is servos/ solenoids or problem TCM that is causing the problems
may even be problem wiring connectors or harness problems around the transmission
I am sure that it is not a transmission problem , just what controls the ration changes

Too much fuel in engine

my first thought is that something is wet, which is possible since you just washed it. However you said it sat for a couple of days...... I doubt that it is to much fuel in the engine, you have strong spark?
