Get as much crc as you can in there, try to hit it back on,reheat and try to remove again,,if this fails you will have to cut it off.

How do i remove a primary clutch on a 1973 344t massey fergusson ski wiz

Remove the main clutch bolt, thread in the appropriate clutch puller, tighten with an air gun, smack the end of the puller with a bfg! Make sure you obtain the right puller. you dont want to strip the threads out of the inside of the clutch or it will never come off.

How many bolt holes are in the flywheel? Mostly 3 holes plus the one in the centre.I used a steering wheel puller and I removed the centre nut to the end of the threads then attached the puller the flywheel. Then proceeded to tighten the puller slowly till the flywheel was loose. Then I removed the puller also removed the centre nut and proceeded to remove the flywheel.Hope this helps.I'm not much at explaining on computer but in person I show you faster. (1) BUT always remember to make the puller is square or level with the flywheel. So that way all 3 bolts are pulling the same time.(2) PLEASE BE CAUTIOUS!!!!...

What direction does the flywheel nut come off on a 1971 kawasaki 90cc?

Hi, kawasaki use a normal thread on the flywheel retaining nut , anti clockwise will undo the nut, once the nut is removed, you will need a flywheel puller, the thread within the flywheel for the puller, is a lefthand thread, if you dont have a puller, its the same one as suzuki 50, yamaha 50 and honda50 which can be bought realitivly cheap, always remove washer from flywheel when usin a puller to ensure it screws all the way home

How do i get the fly wheel off of my 5hp techumseh engine without breaking it

Hi and welcome to FixYa. I am Kelly

There are 3 ways to get it off.
1. Use the flywheel remover tool from tecumseh that threads onto the crankshaft threads. Tiy then strike that tool with a hammer to loosen the flywheel on the tapered shaft while applying a prying force under the flywheel.
2. Back the nut off on the crankshaft until the nut face is just flush with the bitter end of the crankshaft. The use a VERY large screwdriver or mini-crowbar under the flywheel to apply prying force. I find it is best if you use both a very large screw driver and a mini-crowbar while a 2nd person strikes the NUT flat / straight down on the end of the crank shaft. It will pop free and probably scare you when it comes loose. After it comes loose remove the nut and the flywheel.
NOTE: Many of these engines have an OFFSET flywheel key if the engine has electronic ignition. If your not sure about the integrity of the flywheel key replace it. They are cheap.
3. If the flywheel has 2 threaded holes in it... you can make a flat puller plate with 2 holes that will cover the end of the crankshaft and the 2 holes you drill in the plate match up with the holes in the flywheel. You then use long bolts to screw into the 2 holes of the flywheel and the flat plate acts as a puller. You tension the bolts and strike the plate to get it to come free.

I have done all 3 of the above repeatedly. Just be careful when prying on the block so that you do NOT punch a hole in the case. Pry on the ribbed area of the block if possible. If not put a metal plate or thin block of wood against the case so as not to damage it.

Thanks for choosing FixYa,

Hi, sometimes you have to put tension on the puller, then give the end a few taps with a soft hammer, be careful not to damage the crank thread, otherwise you may have to heat the centre of the rotor, also, when you take the rotor bolt out, is there a larger thread on the inside of the hole in the rotor, this is where the puller goes on a lot of bikes, but has to be a specific bike puller, hope this helps :)

How do you remove a stator on a 1992 honda cr250 2 stroke

Stator unbolts, do you mean flywheel? You need a puller for it, it threads into the flywheel, after you remove the center bolt, left handed threads.

i would remove all of the water and then manually turn the engine over alot without starting it SOON to get the water out of the pistons- if it was hydro locked this might prove quite challenging.
