Without knowing the exact details of the damage on your bike, all I can do is make a suggestion. If the "Towrag" has managed to get power to the ignition side of the switch the ECU or PowerCommander may be shorted. This could cause the starter to run but not firing pulse to the plugs. Check for a spark at the cylinder. No spark - could indicate a fried ECU or commander.

I have 2008 gsxr 600. I recently had a power commander and a carbon fibor slip on exhaust put on and now at higher rps, I get a FI light that kicks on I had it back in shop and they tried fixing it but...

Hi the power comander is easily removed as it runs in series with the bikes orIginal wireing, you simply remove the wire connectors from the injectors and the original connectors and the bike is back to normal while they send the power comander back to dynojet, its not unusual for the wires within the dynojet plugs to become faulty poping out of the block as you push the 2 connectors together, does your bike have 8injectors, 4 low rev controled and 4 higher rev controlers, as per instructions You must plug into the correct injectors, if the unit is faulty it will be replaced under warranty, with the pc 111 removed ride the bike and check if the fault still exsists, was the exhaust sensor wire removed
And the o2eliminator fitted, this gives the pcomander full controll, never heard of a faulty one , heard of one that didn,t work. I would phone dynojet uk, if you live in uk, tell them the problem etc, tellephone(0)1995500600

I only have the dyno jet i dont have the usb peace whats an even good point to set the fuel at directly from the box with the 3 buttons its self?

The power commander uses a mini-b USB cable that you can get at most any electronic store or Walmart for next to nothing.... if you've got a digital camera, you've probably already got the cable you need. You'll just need to download the software for the Power Commander from http://www.powercommander.com/downloads/Support-Released/PCIIIUSB/Software/PC3Usb%203.2.1%20Setup.zip.
Once you've installed that one your computer, you'll be able to tweak your fuel map however you want. I would recommend making a backup of the fuel map that you're running right now before making any changes, that way you can go back to stock without any trouble. Dynojet's website also has canned maps for all kinds of bikes that you can download, and for the most part they work great.

I installed a powercommander 5 on my 09 fat bob-it ran good for a week and now the bike is hesitating and seems to be misfiring at low r.p.m-plugs appear more black than what seems normal for a bike w/300...

Unplug the power commander first. It could be bad. They occasionally are defective. If it cures up the problem, then contact who you pruchased it from. if it doesn't make sure the mapping is actually for you application. it could be running on the rich side and it's taking a little while to finally load up.

Bike skips or hesitates at 10,20 30,40,50mph If you take off fast you cant feel it.But if you take off gradually you will feel it. Had apower comander installed they said that would fix it 1200 dollars...

have you had any peformance work done to it at all because sometimes if you have a performance exhaust put on it will hesitate in lower gears. because a dynojet graph should be able to show you where she dips at or gets hesitant and im guessing being that you have a power commander on it that you have fuel injection or that piece of equipment would be pointless. But if you have had the power commander on first and then put say new screaming eagle air intake or a different exhaust or say a different cam the power commander wouldnt acknowledge that that is there. Every motor that harley davidson makes is different and in a way you really should switch to a harley davidson race tuner because most of the dealerships i know of thats the only program they got for there harleys. That or when you got the power commander hooked up the guy that was running on the dynojet didnt set it up properly and your feeling a little bit of dips. Really ideally a harley davidson should run at an air fuel mixture of 13.8 i always preferred running them a little richer then lean. Plus if you tried to map your fuel system with the power commander at your house that could have drastic effects on how the bike runs because you really should get that tuned on a dynojet. because fuel mapping is definatly not something to mess with off your home pc and try it because ive seen people who have mapped there own bikes and when put on a dynojet ive seen there sportsters and softtails sound like rockets but were only getting 25 40 hp at about 3600 rpm. but i would try to get somebody to dial in that power commander first because i dont see why it should hesitate every 10 mphs
