FL means Fuel Injection. Sensors on the injection system have detected a problem. Ride to the dealer and have them hook up a code reader. It could be anything from a dirty air filter to a fuel mapping crash. Filters etc., you buy and install yourself. Major problems require dealer servicing.

What does f1 mean when it flashes where the temp guage is?

It means you have a problem with the fuel injection system if you can start the bike then take it to a Suzuki mechanic. If the F1 is full on i.e.not flashing then the bike will not start normally. You still have a fuel system problem but now you have to find a way of getting it to a Suzuki mechanic. You should have a red light showing near the neutral indicator light.

F1 light flashing

you mean an FI light, not F1. if your ABS lights on that means there's either a problem with the ABS pump or sensors on the wheel, either they are dirty or just faulty.
take your bike to a Dealer to plug the bike onto a Diagnostics machine as that will continue to flash unless its reset by the machine.
if your in the UK you'd be looking at about 30-60 GBP for the Diagnostics at a Suzuki main dealer.
with diagnostics it will pinpoint the fault in the ECU to make it easier and quicker to determine the fault.

What does the F1 red light mean on a 2006 kawasaki VX636R motorcycle?

It's not F1 the light is FI F as in Fuel and I as in Injection.
This light should come on for a moment when the key is turned on and then go off.
