There is an indication in the dashboard of fuel injection system. How can i fix it

You can start by scanning your onboard computer system so you can find out what kind of failure of your fuel injection system has caused the light to come on.

I cannot hear the fuel pump going.I have had the f/pump,relay&tip over sensor tested. They are working fine.?The f1 warning light is constantly flashing.

You need to have the bike scanned by a mechanic that F1 light is actaully an FI light for Fuel Injection. Your bike is telling you it has a problem with the fuel injection and you need to have it scanned.

Is the 2005 c50 fuel injected. does it have fuel filter Think I am haveing a fuel problem, can speed motor but let go clutch to go it slows down., have changed spark plugs and drained tank already.

I do not believe there is a fuel filter on the c50. The problem could possibly be dirty injectors. In that case you could run Seafoam through the system by pouring it in your gas. It can be bought at any autoparts store. Another thing is make sure you you use 87 octane fuel in the bike. It is a low-compression engine and using a higher octane would hurt performance. That could also be the issue if you weren't made aware of it.

Are platinum plugs a common issue w/ fuel injection?

I put platinum plugs in my fuel injected car, and had many problems till i switched back to standard plugs. So i would say yes, there is some truth in that.

When I start riding after about a mile or two the bike starts jerking and my FI light comes on.

FI stands for Fuel Injecton. Your fuel injection sensors have found a problem and the on-board computer chip is telling you. You must have a dealer read the computer code to find out what the problem is.

The red light is on, and where the temp shows, it flashes "F1" or "FI". What does this mean?

hey mate, i had the same trouble with my bike came up red light with FI it ended up being the charging circuit and i had to replace the regulator/rectifier to fix it...
Im guessing the FI stands for fuel injection and there is not enough charge for it to run the fuel injection system...

could be the same problem with your bike, easiest way to check is to run a multi meter that is set to volts dc over the + & - on the battery and see what its got then start the bike and it should go fluctuate between 13.0v and 13.5v...

If it just stays on 12v and drops slowly it is not charging the battery!

The FI message means the computer detects a problem with your fuel injection system. Problems with the power commander can cause this message, to troubleshoot it I would start by removing the power commander. You can also try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes (15 or so) to reset your bikes computer.

That FI message is a computer warning telling you something is wrong with your fuel injection system. Have you installed a power commander or fuel nanny recently?
