If the carbs were jetted for a different pipe, and you have changed it back to standard that will cause your symptoms,if it was doing the same before you changed the pipe your carbs need cleaning

Hi, Anonymous before testing any electrical component in the Starter Circuit it is "IMPERATIVE" that you have a fully charged battery of 12.5 volts or more and be able to pass a proper "LOAD" test because your battery may have 12.5 volts or more but little or zero amps causing the battery to be faulty and must be replaced, especially "AGM" batteries.
1. Ignition Switch not in the "ON" position.
2. Engine Run Switch in the "OFF" position.
3. Check the battery terminals for damage or corrosion check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter.
4. Bank angle sensor needs a reset or is faulty.
5. FOB battery low or dead.
6. Faulty ignition switch.
7. Faulty starter button.
8. Faulty kickstand or clutch pull in switch/sensor.
9. Security alarm needs a reset.
10. Starter relay, solenoid or starter circuit wiring faulty.
11. Starter armature or field coils have failed.
12. Main fuse or circuit breaker may be blown or faulty.
13. The electric starter is working but starter clutch has failed.
14. Check for engine trouble codes.

Hi im having problems with my 99 Fazer 600 (15k). After about 30 mins of motorway riding the revs die for a few seconds and then kick back in, everything electrical seems to carry on working. It will run...

First thing I would do is try draining the carb floatbowls incase you have water or dirt in the bowls and when you crack open the throttle it's drawing water/dirt into the jets.
have you checked the plugs? in the haynes manual as 10K-Ohms @20c
When was the last time the carbs were balanced?

hope this helps

Break light and number plate light stuck on! My bike is a fzs 600 fazer on an '03 plate and yesterday I noticed that the brake light and numberplate light wont turn off when the ignition is on. All the...

There are 2 switches that activate the brake light. One in the RH handlebar and the other on the rear brake pedal. The rear is activated by a spring connected to the brake pedal. Unhook the spring and see if the light goes out. If it does the unit can be adjusted by screwing the switch further toward the brake pedal (Turning clockwise)but you will have to undo the lock nut first. What usually happens is that the rear brake pedal return spring gets worn out and the pedal starts to droop slightly thereby activating the brake light switch.
To check the front switch. Disconnect th RH handlebar wire harness behind the headlight.(just follow the wires from the handle to their connector. Repair of the switch is rarely succesfull, replacement being your best bet.

think your tps sensor not connected properly it will show 3000 revs for 3 seconds then your idle speed for 3 seconds ( being 1) then 0 for 3 seconds and will repeat until you turn ignition off. its on the right hand side by the carbs the plug is covered by a black plastic sleeve turn bike off then disconnect sensor clean contacts then re connect. hope that helps
