in a pinch, tie a knot in the end and solder the knot (make sure you adjust for the shortened cable length). It's "knot" pretty, but it should hold til you get a new cable!

I canat see which lead from the battery charger is positive or which one is negative because the clips on the ends of the leads(which would be colored red for positive, etc.) are missing. Can you tell me or...

The clips usually have a plus or minus cut or embossed into them. Other than that, the easiest way to tell is with a volt meter. There are lots of cheap ones (around $10) available. Good luck, Al K

Engine is missing spark is jumping from black thing that has distributer lead going to it. I don't know the name of part where spark is coming from coil? maybe.

The best and easiest thing to do is, replace your ignition wires. About $45 at Auto Zone. Do one cable at a time with the engine off.

Have 2001 celica has a faulty center shaft bearing in the gear box, how bad is that?

That is real bad. Eventually, the bearing will have a critical failure, and the bearing will break up. This will lead to peices of metal in the transaxle, and the pieces will get between the gears, and snap the teeth off of the gears. This will result in the need for a replacement of the transaxle.

At this point, you either need to get it fixed, or be prepared to locate a replacement transaxle.

I have observed this several times. Each and every time, I ended up replacing the transaxle. One case had a chunk of the outer case blown off, from the peices breaking up inside the transaxle. Plus, it gives you no warning when it ultimatly fails.

Mains cable on dc07

Generally no unless you're a certified electrician. It would involve taking apart the bottom section of the Dyson or wherever the cord leads to, and splicing the cable out of the connection end when you open up the Dyson. Easiest solution is really to get it replaced and if you do then ask them to put an extra length cord on it if you are needing it.

Kenmore Coldsport freezer drain repeated freezes

probably the easiest fix for this is install a drain probe to transfer heat from the defrost heater into the drain hole to prevent ice build up. take a peice of 10 or 12 guage solid copper wire and wrap one end around the defrost heater pretty tight and put the other end down in the drain line 2-4 inches.
