I assume you're talking about oil leak, right? and i really hate to assume, but this time i will. you may have a leaking oil pressure sending unit. if it's coming from under the engine, and the valve cover gasket has been replaced recently, if you have'nt hit anything with the car that may have caused damage to your engine,I would look for a bad oil sending unit leaking,or a leaking oil filter,or a leaking oil pan gasket. or a simple oil drain bolt loose. if this does'nt help you, please repost your question to fixya.com

This person did not say exactly where underneath the leakage was coming from? Wow, it is hard to assume huh!

Gm Troubleshoot I have no fuel pressure with a replaced fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel pressure relief value, and a new oil pressure switch. When I replace the oil pressure switch the 2000 z71, 5.3L started...

Check the fuse and fuel relay. Relay is located in electrical center under the hood on the driver side. The relay and fuse legend will be on bottom side of the protective cover. You can test it by exchanging it with another relay that you know works, (horn relay, etc.).

With the key OFF, listen carefully for a slight whirring / buzzing sound for 5+ seconds or so when you turn the key to on / run. This sound is the fuel pump running. If you hear it run, then it is most likely pumping fuel - but is blocked somewhere (crushed line?). You could disconnect the fuel line to verify fuel delivery while the pump is running if you need to. If you don't hear it; check for 12V + and GROUND at the pump. Remember, the pump only runs for a few seconds when the key is in the run position with the engine NOT running, so power will be there for a few seconds only. Check for loose / poor (+) and ground lead connections as they can cause this problem too.

Good luck!

The alternator is located on lower back side of engine do i have to remove motor mounts and lift it up to remove alternator 99 taurus 3.0 liter

This 3.0 engine must be the dual overhead cam engine, the best way to remove the alternator on this car is to first remove the passenger side wheel, next take fasteners off the lower part of the splash sheild and pull it up and tie up out of the way, next you will see a cover on bottom of alternator, remove the two small screws that hold it and remove cover. next remove the belt, then remove the upper alt bolt and then the bottom bolt, pull alternator off bracket and turn to be able to remove cable and the connector going to alt, the alternator should come out the bottom now, if you need a little more room, then remove the nut on the rear and front mounts, the nuts are the lower ones, easy to get to, they go through the frame then use a jack with a small piece of wood and jack on the oil pan, put wood on bottom of pan then jack, this will avoid damage to pan, slowly jack engine until you have room, i was able to remove without jacking motor good day.

HOW CAN I CHANGE THE SHIFT KNOB ON MY 2000 FORD EXPEDITION

The shift knob is part of the shifter handle. The overdrive shift button assembly and button cover are replacable seperately. To remove the button, simply pry off the cover, pull out the button and replace. reverse the order to assemble.

To remove the shift handle, remove the ignition cylinder by turning to the run position and pushing a small pin, drill bit or allen wrench into the hole on the bottom of the trim cover hole to release the ignition cylinder. Pull the cylinder out. Next remove the screws from the bottom column trim cover and remove the upper trim. Next, remove the pin from the shifter and disconnect the electrical connector. Replace the shifter and reassemble. Good luck, please ask for more information if you can't leave four thumbs up. Have a great day!

How to replace cam position sensor on a 2002 isuzu rodeo 2.2 engine

the sensor is under the timing belt cover at the top of the engine. If you are looking at the engine you'll see a black strip covering your spark plugs, your electrical connection on the camshaft position sensor is under there go ahead and disconnect the sensor. Next is the removal of the timing belt cover. You will need to take the bolts holding the cover in place they will hold it all the way down to the bottom of the engine. The bolt in the center top section is actually the bolt holding the sensor in place inside the engine so you will need to look and see how to maneuver the sensor out after the bolt is removed. Replace with new sensor and replace bolts. Plug electrical connector into the top of the sensor and replace spark plug cover. You are now done. have a good day !! 2.2 engine,

1998 chevy 1500 auto trans noticed a grinding noise seemed like it was coming from rear differential pulled the cover everything looked good next day starts to slip really bad, park it over night ......

If its a whining type noise when cold, the trans filter may be plugged. replace the filter ans examine the bottom of the pan, if it has a lot of debris in the pan, and the filter is plugged, replacing the filter will help, but you will need trans work in the future.
