Probably water in the carb. Condensation in the gas tank can make it's way into the carb float bowl. When it builds up enough water the carb sucks it into the engine. Bikes don't run well on water. Drain the float bowl.

2001 Toyota Tacoma keeps stalling on start up.

Check the battery cables. I had the same issues with my 96 tacoma, The battery cable connection at the battery can be cranked down but still be loose. Hard to explain, doesn't make sense, but just check it out.

How many times do i turn my tuning screw round or does it depend on how it was set up??/ demon pitbike 140cc

The tune screw on the carby which is your mixture screw should be screwed out 1 and a half turns out from all the way in than you give it a fine tune once it has started, 2 turns at the very most.

I've got a 2001 Yamaha V Star 1100 Classic that I thought I prepared well for the winter. I added fuel stabilizer to a full tank last last fall. I got one small but issue free ride yesterday, but today...

Some times the fuel stabilizer can make it back fire so constantly top up your tank until you run all the old mix gas thru just keep diluting the fuel with fresh stuff, also be sure to use only high test fuel and mabe check your plugs out as well for fouling those are the cheapest ideas you can try for now!

We have a 2001 sportage the gas tank is seaping on the top. Recently it started to start harder( turns over longer before firing). Today the check engine light came on and the car misses like its starving...

I dont know why gas would be "seeping". if its leaking, thats a problem. have the fuel pressure checked, if its low, the tank will have to come down for possible fuel pump replacement, and the leak found and corrected at the same time (possibly the fuel line is leaking back there?)

Bike wont start after sitting for 6 months

Hi, first of all, open the bowl drains and drain all the old gas out of the four bowls. Tighten up the screws, find the main fuel line coming out of the fuel petcock on the gas tank. Pull this line off, and find a little funnel, or make one with a piece of paper or something. Slowly fill this line up until full, this will fill all the carbs up. Put the line back on, fire the bike up, let it run for awhile, should be ok. Your bike has a vacuum operated petcock, so it won't let gas thru unless there is vacuum to it, and it doesn't make much vacuum cranking over. I have took the vacuum line off of the petcock, and sucked on it long enough to get gas to get the bike fired up, but a vacuum pump would be better! lol
