Question about 2004 BMW R 1150 GS Adventure
Hi, Italupo I would have to say normal life expectancy of a crankshaft should be around 200,000 KM with average riding habits depending how well you plead your case BMW might meet you half way on parts and labor or just parts, but they are under no obligation to do so since the bike is probably out of warranty for more information about your question please visit the website below. Good luck and have a nice day.

SOURCE: bike cuts out over 4000 rpm
I had this with a Yamaha 900 it was the Ignition switch broken inside. I fixed my switch and all was well, you may need to replace new switch

google gs1150 workshop manual, heaps of info there, But you better know something about mechanics, a word of warning do not try to bleed or try to relace the brake fluid, if your model has abs, if it does send it to your closest accredited bmw dealer.
