If you do that, all that may happen is if you have a fault, the wire loom will burn out instead of the fuse.
Tuning should be carried out by a trained technician.

My back seat windows don't work on a 1999 daewoo nigea

If you look around the passenger compartment in the car - sometimes along the wall of the dash that is exposed when you open the driver's door - sometimes almost under the dash like the picture - on the backside of the access door is a map that explains what each fuse goes to. Look for anything that has 'Windows' and pull the fuse out. If the small connector that connects the two posts is burnt or in any way doesn't completely connect the two posts - the fuse is bad. Small boxes can be purchased at gas stations, auto stores, etc.

If you have a standard test light - you can also check each exposed post at the top of the fuse with the tip of that testlight. One side of that fuse should be getting power no matter what. The way to identify the bad fuse - any fuse that there is not confirmed power on BOTH sides is faulty.

Hope that helps - All The Best, Justin Lee

if you look under and around sides of your seat you may find an electrical connector not connected , this is probably the power seat connection , i\'ve mostly seen them under seat poked through a small slit in the carpet,as long as the seat you get is the same model year etc you shouls have no problems ,may have to put fuse in fuse box lowerdash drivers side list of fuses will be on the lid cover, hope it works out power seats so much nicer

Front driver seat blows fuse when seat goes back

Sounds like a broken or cracked wire under the seat. It sounds like it's grounding itself out when you put the seat back.Find someone limber to crawl under the seat to eyeball the situation, chances are, it's a simple fix. Hope this helped you out. G.K.

Fuse protects

Hi, Katie if your headlight is not working, keeps burning out or is dim the first thing you need to check is the headlight bulb for damaged filaments then check your light circuit fuse, that being said the usual suspects are:
1. Faulty ground or power supply wire to headlight bulb socket.
2. Worn, chaffed, or broken wires in the light circuit.
3. Corroded, broken, or loose pins/sockets in wire connectors.
4. Faulty hi/lo beam switch.
5. Faulty ignition switch.
6. Fuse is good but no continuity on both sides.
7. Faulty wiring between battery positive and headlight bulb socket.
8. Weak charging alternator/generator.
9. Faulty voltage regulator/rectifier, overcharging.
