Vulcan classic 96 does it have transmission fluid if where do you add and check

Hi, Michael I get this question a lot and you will be pleased to know that the engine oil also lubricates the transmission there is no separate compartment for this scenario you will need your service/owners manual if you can't find the first and best tool you ever bought for your Yamaha, despair not, for a mere zero $0 you can download another one. For more information about your issue and valuable "FREE" downloads that you will need please click on the links below. Good luck and have a nice day.

1997 kaw 1500 vulcan, will not shift into 2nd gear, is this something I can fix myself, or does it need to go to a shop

the 96 and 97 vulcan classic 4 speed transmission is garbage. Fixed mine 3 times. still no 2nd gear. Shame on you you Kawasaki.
My advice, drive it off a cliff somewhere and then go buy a honda vtx.

How do add fluid to a 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 standard

if you go under the truck you will find a 3/4" pipe plug on the side of the trans case, revoce it, fill the trans to just below the threads of that plug, use your pinky to check the level..

Where is the transmission dipstick for a 1997

its a 5 speed, there is not dipstick. there is a fill plug on the side of the tranny you remove to check fluid level, level should be just below the opening.

I just purchased a 1997 vulcan 1500 classic.Every time i shift into 2nd i miss it and it goes into nuetral is there a problem or is it just me.

if your 2nd cam shaft is damage you can never go to 2nd shift and it will go to neutral or you can hit it twise to go to 3rd shift, but if you change to 2nd shift and it go neutral then you try again and it go without any hard snappimg sound then its just provably you, i hope your cam shaft is not damage, you'll spend a lot for it
