I wantto know weather its a FLHR FLHRC FLHRS VIN 5HD1FRW13S7OO14X4

This does not look like a good number. Please look again. You engine number should be about the same expecially the last six digits but it'll be abbreviated. Try it again. The late models are more confusing that the earlier models.

Require year of manufacture of two bikes... honda eng No C70E-11685 chassis No C70-C013741. Honda eng No C90E-3127157 chassis No C90-S127149 Appreciate any help...

Hello,

The chassis number(s) will not give the year of the bikes. The engine number(s) will give the year and location made of the engine only. This information would have to be obtained from the manufacturer.

The only way to determine the year of the bike(s) is to use the VIN number. The VIN number is 17 characters long and is usually located on the front of the frame.

This site, VIN Look-up, will give you all the information you need on your bikes.

Hope this helps and if you find this post useful, please vote. Thank You.

Regards,

Oz

I just bought a 04 flhr efi model. It has added Stage I breather and se Stage I slip-on pipes. Bike has a slight pop/miss when throttle is turned up on take-off. Can I adjust computer?

if you buy a Power Commander from a company called Dynojet then yes you can adjust the system yourself however even if you get a power commander my suggestion is to take the bike to a dealership that has a Dynomometer and have the bike tuned on the Dyno that way you know exactly what your fuel is doing and you dont lean the mixture out to much

Oil Change instructions for a 2007 FLHRS . Is there an online instruction link available for changing the oil on my 2007 FLHRS

I've never seen an online link but Chilton's sells a manual that will tell you most anything you want to know.

To change the oil, you must first drain the oil tank. Looking underneath the bike on the bottom of the transmission, you'll see two drain plugs. One will be in the middle of the tank and one will be towards the left side of the bike and slightly forward. The one on the left side and forward is your oil drain. Remove it to drain your oil.

While the oil is draining, change out the filter. Simply screw the old one off and install the new one. You may have to take the crank sensor out of the crankcase to get the filter out. Remove the screw holding it in, pull it out. When you get the new filter back on, reinstall the sensor. Don't overtighten the bolt holding the sensor in.

Now refill the oil tank. I think your FLHRS takes four quarts of oil. Put in three and check the level with the bike on the stand. Fill to the "Full Cold" mark is reached.

If you drain the transmission oil, remove the small plug and refill with 20-24 ounces of Harley Davidson trans lube.

If you wish to drain and change the primary lube, remove the drain plug on the bottom of the primary case and the "derby cover" over the clutch. Once drained, replace the drain plug and stand the bike straight up. Add 40-44 ounces of H-D transmission/primary lube or fill until level just comes to the bottom of the clutch spring.

Your bike originally came with Syn3 lubricant in all three places.

Good Luck.

I purchased a imported yamaha yz450f need to find out year model vin:CJ10C027008 ENG: J324E027999 THANKS..

VIN numbers are usually 17 digits long so it appears you are missing some numbers/letters. If you find the full 17 numbers, enter them into this website and it should tell you all you want to know.

Year

Find the model production year, usually found on the same plate as the vin. Then add one year. For instance if the bike was produced in 2001, then its a 2002 model.
