Hi,

You can, but you should not unless it's an absolute emergency, and if you do, leave the car turned off and use a chassis ground instead of a running battery. A car charging system can destroy a motorcycle battery and electrical system.

It's better to charge the battery correctly with a charger, or even try to bump start in a pinch.

Please help me reset security code. I bought this used 04 honda accord, and now i dont have the code.. Does anybody know how to reset it???? Thanks

The 2004 Honda Accord's optional navigation system came with a theft-deterrent system. If the Accord loses power and the battery requires a jump-start, an unlock code is necessary to turn the system back on. The navigation's unlock code and serial number were provided with the Accord at the time of original purchase. A Honda dealer can also provide you with the unlock code, if necessary, free of charge.

Locate your unlock code. The original code should be in your owner's manual on a card. You can also obtain the code by visiting the Honda Owner Link website or by calling a Honda dealer. You will need to provide your vehicle identification number (VIN). Start your vehicle. The Honda owner's manual states that the vehicle must be turned on. Enter your four-digit unlock code when prompted. Your navigation system may try to initialize GPS depending on how long the battery was disconnected. If it does, you will be taken to a screen that asks you not to turn off your vehicle during the 10-minute initialization process. Wait until you are taken to the Disclaimer screen. This signifies that your navigation system has been properly unlocked and is ready to use.

My battery died after leaving my dome light on overnight. I had AAA jump the vehicle and its working fine, however the ABS and BRAKE light are now on and wont turn off? Could this be related to the battery...

Yes, they can be related. If the PCM, (computer) did not have sufficient voltage it can throw all kinds of lights on. Shouldn't be anything to worry about. As soon as your vehicles PCM goes through a drive circle or two they should go off on there own.

2006 honda accord wont start. nothing happens when i turn it on, just a click. radio, lights and door chime work.vehicle will not jump start

First make sure the shift lever is properly in the park position. Hondas tend to have little problem in that area after a few years.
Second make sure battery terminals are clean and secure. Next you should try jumping the battery. A low battery may produce enough electricity to run the radio, lights, chimes etc but not enough to crank engine.

I bought a honda accord 2000 LX with a mileage of 211000, but the engine is running very well, i just want to find out whether is okey considering the mileage

We have been seeing Hondas exceeding the 300000 mark.As long as maintenace is done on a regular basis it will probably last quite awhile longer. They are a very sound dependable vehicle.

My honda accord VSA light is flashing

I had this problem on a Ridgeline and did just about everything trying to avoid taking it to the dealership. VSA stands for Vehicle Stablility Assist and if your light is flashing then you'll probably need to take it to the dealer and have the system checked for problems and reset. I don't know of any mechanics with the software that Honda has for this system.

What would cause my 2004 honda accord engine connecting rod, go through the engine block. I have maintained the vehicle with regular fluid and oil changes. The car only has 118,000. Has any one else had...

I haven't heard of a Honda with that low of mileage doing that. Most likely a bad piston or bad connecting rod. Sorry to hear of such bad news.

95 honda accord V6 tachometer jumping and cutting out.

I had the same problem with my 1995 Honda Accord V6 2.7L a year ago. It was a pain to have Honda diagnose the problem because it was intermittent and every time I took my car in to the dealership they said they couldn't reproduce the problem, but the longer you wait the more frequently your tachometer will fluctuate. I finally stopped by the dealership when the tachometer was jumping and they were able to diagnose the problem. In my case there was a faulty resistor in the ignition coil, but the entire ignition coil needs to be replaced. I don't know anything about cars but I know this fixed my problem. I went directly though Honda's service center so I know they charged me more than an independent repair shop but I'm looking at my invoice now and I paid $150 for the ignition coil and $200 for labor. After Honda diagnosed the problem I searched for "1995 honda accord ignition coil tachometer" and found that other people had the same problem and replacing the ignition coil was the fix. Hope this helps.

1992 Honda Accord LX Spedometer

Probably the VSS (vehicle speed sensor), located on top of the transmission. If I remember correctly, you may need to remove the air intake tube. Not hard to replace, need a 10mm wrench.
