It realy depends on the climate you live in.
Most oils of 10w-40 are suitable for UK riding. If you use semi synthetic it will last longer before the molecules are destroyed.

What is the oil capacity of my engine including the oil filter

Since, as I write this, you have not bothered to identify the make/ model of vehicle and engine type fitted in your vehicle no one can help you.

If you go to a Castrol website and plug in your vehicle details in their "retail oil selector " program, the recommended oil and oil capacity of the engine will be displayed.

What type of oil should I use

You should refer to the specifications for the engine, the vehicle or approach one of the oil company distributors and supply them with your vehicle details.

Modern engine and transmission oils have many grades, qualities and additive packs as well as several different ways of grading those specifications (API, MIL, SAE and so forth).
Sometimes it is very important to get this right, especially as the additives in the oil do not easily mix with the additives in other oils.

What type of oil does a pp420 briggs and stratton lawnmower use, thanks, kev.

10W30 or SAE 30 oil is fine for four stroke engines up to about 4 HP. For higher horse powers a more viscous oil is normally used like 10W40 or 15W40

Have a look at this video for details on checking oil levels and type:

Sir i don't know how many liters will i need to change oil my car and what kind of oil should i use?

Different models of cars have capacity that suits the engine, so unless your car model is not known it is difficult to comment.. Also the oil grade depends on the engine type / fuel type. so as for petrol and diesel.
So please check on your manual or reply with the details.

Do you have to use oil in the pump and if so type, how often.

water pumps doesn't require oil in the pump; but your engine does require. if the water pump is of "self priming" type, fill the pump casing with water before starting the machine to avoid damage to the water seals.

Transmission oil filling

I changed the transmission oil on my pu truck ford f150. It was easy.
You'll need a transmission filter and transmission oil ask the serviceman how many qts you need.
Remember that you will have to check the dipstick and see that the two holes on it are covered with red trans fluid while the engine is running. Remember while the engine is on then you check to see if you need to add which you certainly will have to keep adding until it is full. Sorry i didnt give you more details.
