Remove the exhaust and see if the bike will start. The pipe could be plugged up with mud at the end of the pipe or an internal collapse in the pipe could be stopping the exhaust from exiting the pipe.

1997 rm 125 won't start why should I do?

For your dirt bike to run you need 3 things:

1. Fuel (gas/air)
2. Compression
3. Spark

Start trouble shooting through these. Make sure your gas is turned on, and that it flows through the carb; if you tilt the bike does fuel run through the overflow tube in the carb? Make sure you have good spark; take out the spark plug from the cylinder, still connected to the ignition wire touch the threaded end to somewhere metal on the engine and turn the bike over. You should see a spark. Finally, do you have good compression, how hard is it to kick over etc.

These are the first things to trouble shoot, I would look on youtube if you don't know what you're doing, there are plenty of helpful videos there. You can also try putting a thimble full of fuel into the cylinder and then kick it over to help it start if it has been sitting a while.

I have lot's of spark on my 83 rm 125. I fired it up after sitting for a long time and it kicked right over. I let it run for a few minutes and then shut it off. now it won't fire up again.! Lot's of spark...

Could be low compression (poor piston rings) or plugged air filter.
If it looks like oil on the plug, not fuel, you could have a crank seal issue, as the right side one will **** in transmission oil if it leaks.

2001 rm125 start help

Three things required for combustion: fuel, compression, and spark (at the right time). If your bike has sat for more than a few months, the carburetor is very likely plugged up with gasoline varnish. Take it completely apart and soak in carburetor cleaner, then blow out with compressed air - making sure the jets are clear (hold each one up to a light and look through it). Refill the tank with fresh gasoline and it should run.

1993 suzuki rm 125 has no spark?

best spark plug is iridium plug, takes the heat and lasts alot more rides. could be flooded, take plug out , stick finger over hole , kick start till it drys out. take match stick and clean inside of plug, should be good. otherwise probably a fuel problem.

Wont start

check if there is spark/fuel then try to bum start as engine will turn over alot longer than with a single kick.
