1) Turn your key to the on position (dash lights will come on)
2) Push the odometer button until the total miles are displayed and keep holding it.
3) Turn the key Off, and then back ON while holding the odometer button in.Don't let up on the button. You will notice the odometer reading shows dashes and they will sequence off. After they sequence off, the Maint Reqd light will go off. Release the odometer button
No need to worry this is the maintenace light that indicates you need an oil change. To reset the light:
1) Turn your key to the on position (just before it turns the engine over).
2) Push the odometer button until the total miles are displayed and HOLD it in.
3) Turn the key Off, and then back ON while holding the odometer button in.
Don't let up on the button. You will notice the odometer reading shows dashes and they will sequence off. After they sequence off, the Maint Reqd light will go off. Release the odometer button.

With the igniition off, press and hold the odometer button, turn the key to the "on" position, but do not start the car. Keep the odometer button down until the oil light begins and ends flashing. Turn the key off, and then start car to see if it worked or not.
