1) Turn your key to the on position (dash lights will come on)
2) Push the odometer button until the total miles are displayed and keep holding it.
3) Turn the key Off, and then back ON while holding the odometer button in.Don't let up on the button. You will notice the odometer reading shows dashes and they will sequence off. After they sequence off, the Maint Reqd light will go off. Release the odometer button

No need to worry this is the maintenace light that indicates you need an oil change. To reset the light:

1) Turn your key to the on position (just before it turns the engine over).
2) Push the odometer button until the total miles are displayed and HOLD it in. 3) Turn the key Off, and then back ON while holding the odometer button in. Don't let up on the button. You will notice the odometer reading shows dashes and they will sequence off. After they sequence off, the Maint Reqd light will go off. Release the odometer button.

Hope this helps.

Light on screen says REQ. MAINT.

Could be as easy as your car is due for an oil change (if that hasn't been done within the required interval (check your owners manual). If that is not the problem, I suggest taking it to a mechanic that you trust, that has a computer that he can hook to your car to find out exactly what the problem is........ As it could be quite a few different things

Maint. req. light blinks 10 times after start up?

When a Honda Maint Req light blinks, but then stops, it is telling you to change your oil. If you don't change it, eventually, the maint req light will stay on. Here is how you reset the maint req light: 1) Turn they key to the II position
2) Turn the key to the off position, and push and hold in the odometer reset button
3) Turn they key back to the II position, while still holding the odometer button.
4) After about 10-15 seconds, the light should go off.

If that doesn't work, try it this way: p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Verdana}

With the igniition off, press and hold the odometer button, turn the key to the "on" position, but do not start the car. Keep the odometer button down until the oil light begins and ends flashing. Turn the key off, and then start car to see if it worked or not.

My Maint Req light is blinking when I turn the car on. What does this mean? I didn't get an owners manual when I bought the car used.

Hello
This is usually a generic warning that your car is due for service.
oil change
Air filter
spark plugs

Needs to go to a dealer or dealer rep to do a diagnostic check.

How to reset maint req lite on a 2005 sienna

Reset the "MAINT REQD" Light on Toyota Sienna:
  1. With the car started (ignition on), set the LCD odometer readout to total mileage (not trip A or B).
  2. Turn the car off (ignition key to the OFF position).
  3. Push in AND HOLD the button/knob that switches the odometer
  4. Turn key to ON position without starting the car. You will notice the maintenance light blink and go out.
  5. Release the odometer button/knob.
  6. Turn key to OFF position.
  7. That's it! The "MAINT REQD" light has been reset to warn you to change your oil in another 5,000 or 7,500 miles or so.

Hope helped with this (remember rated this help) Good luck.

Maint req light

That just means you're due for an oil change. they automatically come on after 5000 miles. To reset the light, put it on the odometer display in your instrument cluster. turn the key off. now push and hold the odometer/trip reset button while you turn on the key to the IGN position. You will see 5 dashes on the odometer display, which will sequencially disappear and then go back to the odometer when it's done. after your odometer shows again, you can release the odometer/trip reset button and your maintenence light should be off.
