There should be a repair manual available at your Honda Dealer. If they don't have it they should be able to order it for you. As an alternative, try the Honda website. Another option is your local public library. In the self help section. Just ask where the auto repair books are. Oil change? When you buy a used bike, CHANGE IT !!! Chances are, it has not been maintained or ridden recently. Keep an eye on it with the oil dipstick. When its no longer clear and golden, change it. I cannot tell you how often to change it because that depends on your engine, how you ride, and how often you ride, as well as the oil you use. If it looks dirty, change it. I also suggest you replace oil, fuel and air filters for the reason stated above.
Hi I have a honda steed 400 97 model i had the carbs cleant change the plugs bought from honda im still having loss of power the two back cylinders arent firing but there is fire on my spark plug cables.What could be the actual fault thanks.RSA drive safe.
