Number one make sure it is installed as the instructions say, the seat bolts most be tight. If that is right then if you are shifting a lot of weight you may need a thicker more heavy duty seat.
Replace the plastic bumbers with rubber bumpers. I got mine at Ace hardware for 1.98 and it works well. The plastic bumpers that come with the seat apparently don't provide any friction.Replace the plastic bumbers with rubber bumpers. I got mine at Ace hardware for 1.98 and it works well. Hi
You are 100% right, the metal flush arms tend to rust, sometimes in two ! They are stronger than plastic, and that is why they make them, but there are plenty of plastic, aftermarket replacement flush arms you can buy that work just fine.
Three wraps of white teflon tape on the threads will often help to keep the assembly tight longer. Since the fastener is made of nylon, there is not really any sort of glue that will work.
You can't be serious? Get yourself down to Loews, Home Depot or Menards and get yourself a seat brother! It's not rocket science or that only Jacuzzi seats fit fit Jacuzzi toilets lets get real, comon lets get er done PAL.
Try checking plumbing supply houses instead of home improvement stores. Im not sure where you are located. Here in MO. I use Harry Cooper Supply or Riback Supply or Southern Materials. A good supply house should be able to help you find what you are looking for. Hope this helps.
Martin, Jacuzzi has a one year warranty on toilet seats so if you have defective seats and they were purchased less than a year it is covered you will have to find a dealer near you, I provided a link for you to accomplish this. How is the seat attached? There should be two plastic screws with a nut on the underside which can be tightened these tend to loosen and nee re-tightening every so often. I hope this has helped. Thanks for using FIXYA, good luck and have a great day. Jeff
first need to buy the longer oval seat so it sits correctly at the front most mounting screws are universal-- go buy thin rubber washers and trim and place between the hinge and bowl than tighten down this will stop slippage but the front if not correctly sitting on the bowl will still cause problems
