Rev limiter issues

Circle track racing : I have a 1996 Grand Am GT 3100 sfi - the problem is after about 6 laps the engine rev limiter kicks in and it seems to kick the transmission into neutral ---- is there a way to adjust or bypass the rev limiter? or is there a kit available to set the rev limiter higher?

Hello I race a 1996 cavalier on a dirt track and I have been having some issues that don't seem to bad.the car will run fine for 4 laps depending on how much I get on it then it will just loose power I...

What kind of air box do you have? After racing in dirt for a few laps, is the air filter getting clogged up? I would say that or possibly intaking in hot engine air (cool air atomizes the fuel better). I'd start there... then move on to fuel issues.
