I lost the key to my motorcycle, can I give the dealer my serial number and have a key sent to me?

#1 give serial # of bike to dealer have them to oder you one
#2 pull ign.swt take to lock smith,have one cut

or remove switch and take to lock smith

Take your serial number to your dealer who can make a new key for you based on that number. Be prepared to prove ownership of the MBK. You do not need to remove the lock.

get the serial number off the bike and bring it with you ownership papers to a kawi dealer and they can order you a new key. Cheaper then replacing the ignition.

There should be a number on the face of the Ing. switch. Get that number then the serial number off the frame- go to your local Honda dealer they can get you a new key from those numbers. Why make this complicated? Take your serial number and proof of ownership to the Suzuki Dealer, and let them make you a new key.

Some Honda radios will give you their serial number by turning key to on position then push 1 and 6 button at the same time then turn on radio. It should display the radio serial number. You will need to give that number to a Honda dealer service advisor to search for the radio code. Or let the dealer do it for you. Sometimes people will put the number in the glove box door or operators manual because everytime Batt. power is lost or disconnected,you have to enter the code to get the radio and nav to work.

Suzuki prints a publication that cross references vin numbers to engine numbers. They are sent to dealers.
