What you are seeing is engine coolant.
You may have a bad intake manifold gasket leak or a blown head gasket.
If you check your oil level you may also find that it seams over filled.
Also check your antifreeze you may find the is also short.
What is happening is you have a gasket leak and the antifreeze is mixing with your oil.
Hope this helps.

Milky in the oil cap is ok -- this is caused by condensation and oil mixing inside the oil cap and it is nothing to be worried about.
now if you look at the dip stick and you see a milky looking oil on it -- and if you do a oil change and notice it to be milky - then this is a sign that you may have a blown head gasket, and this you need to worry about.

Blowing white smoke

If you have overheated your car recently, then you possibly have a blown head gasket. Take off your oil fill cap (with engine off) and inspect to see if there is a milky substance underneath the cap. If so, bad news- head gasket. You can also check the oil dipstick for the same substance to verify bad head gasket, but usually it has to be pretty bad (gasket) or driven for a while before exhibiting any signs. The oil fill cap is a pretty good indicator. With the car cool, you can open the radiator cap and look and smell for anything other than coolant (fuel smell or oil slick). If so, probable head gasket.

I was told there was a milky film around my oil cap he thought it could be a blown casket

Sometimes condensation will build up on your oil cap...So a milky substance on your cap doesn't necessarily mean you have a blown head gasket. Check your dipstick to see if it looks like chocolate milk. If it does, then you might have a cracked block or head gasket issue.

Milky oil cap on merc c180 2005

You havw a serious problem with water getting into the oil.
Most likely it is leaking from the head gasket. You mentioned that the head gasket was replaced 6 months ago. Did the cylinder head get re-tighten after several hundred kms. If not this should have been done to avoid this problem.

Milky substance in the radiator

You have oil entering the radiator and when combined with water makes a milky substance. Oil entry is normally through a defective cylinder head gasket.

Noticed it was overheating, let it cool, removed radiator cap, saw this brownish substance all over the inside of cap and in radiator. What is it and what should I do?

the brownish is oil/the head gasket busted threw letting in oil to the water pull the dipstick and see if there is any moisture or milky looking substance if so look for another motor or have the heads magnafluxed for cracks

2001 TOWN&COUNTRY VAN WITH 3.8L engine, i found milky white or like white grease on the oil cap.what causes this problem

Water in the oil. If it is running right and feels good going down the road then it ought to be ok but if you feel like its missing then chances are you blew a head gasket. I have known some vehicles that develope that white milky substance on the oil caps and blamed it on condensation mixing with the oil. Changing the oil cap usually cures that problem.

What causes the white milky subtance under oil cap. How do you prevent it?

The milky white substance is water mixing with oil. Oil normally mixes with water in your engine from a blown head gasket, but if your not having any problems with your car I have seen where a little water gets under the oil cap from washing the engine down. Hope this helps.

I have a 2000 daewoo that lost power going up a hill and smoke started coming out of the tail pipe any suggestions on what the problem could be?

Head gasket failure is probable cause. Did engine get hot? Can you see milky substance on the dipstick? Is there a milky substance in the radio fill tank? All indicators of oil mixed with coolant

1998 f-150 oil issues

that milky substance is just the result of not changing the oil enough, it is water and oil mixed. the water is just condensation that ends up at the highest point, the oil cap. clean it off and it should be fine. make sure that the oil is at the correct level.
