There has been known promblem with the 03- early 05 sorento of radiator fan staying on even after engine is turn off, it is claim to be a electrical malfuction in the engine termalstat. However you may just need to check your coolant level and fill it up as there is also a promblem to the sorento's having a leaking radiator coolant resevior too. Pretty much I own a 03 sorento, and it has been nothing but promblem, but glad I got rid of it. However like I said, check your coolant level, and fill it up with 50/50 coolant to recommended level. Should be able to solve the promblem, since it seems your engine is lacking coolant and is overheating, and the fan turn on automatic even after you have shut of your car to help cool it down.

This is a farily common issue. Located the fuse block under the hood and in there will be a relay for the engine cooling fan(s). There may be one for the A/C as well. Remove the suspect relay until the fan stops. Buy a new relay and you should be good to go .

Fan motor for cooling radiator keeps running after shut vehicle off, I tap on fuse box on right front of engine, what is wrong?

If the coolant temp is hot the fan will keep running till cools , if it stays on after this the censor may be at fault.

Need input on engine code for engine temp staying low too long

Have you not googled your obd codes
& diagnosed them, to find a problem

No idea why you would do all you did

You always resolve code related issues first

The coolant temp should be 210 all the time

Sounds like your not looking at scan tool data
or following any factory trouble charts or actually
know what coolant temp is,your just assuming & not
doing the required testing to verify things

Why is My 04 PT Criuser running hot and there is coolant in the radiator ?

check your cooling fans make sure they are working, to do this start your engine and turn on the ac the cooling fans should be running, if it does the next thing to check is the temp sensors, to do this turn off the ac, while the engine is running keep an eye on your temp gauge if the dial is going up above normal or at the point where you say the engine is running hot check if the cooling fans are running,
1) if not running, cooling fan sensor is not working, replace
2)if running, thermostat is shut, the thermostat regulates the flow of coolant in the engine it is fully open at normal operating temp and close if coolant is cold, replace

Cause battery drain

I have seen this on another car line, if the radio shuts down electronically and it can glitch thereby not shutting everything off. The fix was a software change by the radio manufacturer. Check if others are having the problem, I am not familiar with your vehical.

Airconditioning not cooling even though it has plenty of coolant

Coolant is not the problem ,most likely,it might need freon,it could be low,or the cooling fans are not coming on when the ac is turned on.

Does the fan always run

Cooling fans only run when the temp,of the coolant get to about 215 to 218 degrees, and shut them selves off, when the engine cools down,if they do not cut off,the engine is not cooling down, now,if the ac is on,the cooling fans will stay on until the ac is shut off.
