BLUEBIRDMATE thanks for the tip..will try it jus incase it starts coz i took it to GM 2 days ago and sinc then ivent experienced that problem.. but i guess its still early to celebrate. they tell me they switched the relays..hope they don damage my car..and oh i smelt fuse this morning as i got into the car..and hey ive to inform them jus incase it does some damage..thanks y'all
i just bought a 2006 hummer and just started having the same problem - had to get it jumped three times in the last 5 days. I did not drive the two days it did not need to be jumped. Three hours ago I drove up to a friend's house. The car is dead again. I feel like I'm driving a first generation electric car.
Question:
what is the "wait" position? Thanks for the help,
Marti
Hello: Please read the procedure again, you DO not remove the key just turn it off and on the first attempt you go to the start position and then to on (run) There is an ignition relay and a start relay they are in the fuse box under the hood and on the inside of the top cover there positions identified.
Hi Bluebirdmate!
THANKS! This worked.... the hardest part was waiting the 10 minutes 3 times! SO, ? can we fix this problem ? The car belongs to my youngest daughter and I don't like getting the "MY CAR WON'T START!" call at 7:30 a.m. when I am at work and she is going to be late for school. What causes this problem? Please let me know if it needs to go to Chevy to be fixed. THANKS AGAIN!
