2002 DAEWOO LANOS PROBLEM

Sounds like you may have a faulty transmission output speed sensor.

Here is some extra information on replacing the Daewoo Lanos indicator / hazard lights relay. Open the driver door, on the side of the dashboard there is an access panel. Flip it open with a screwdriver.
Now you can pull out a violet connector block. The relay is plugged into this block, it is green. You can just pull it out of the connector block and replace it by a new one. The part number is 96312545, and it has three pins, numbered 31, 49 and 49A.
Other specifications: 12V 2/4x21W. It is made by Daewoo / DECO. The same type of relay is used in the Daewoo Matiz. I picked up a used relay from an old Matiz for 2 euros and the indicator/hazard lights work like
a charm again. The whole replacement took about 2 minutes, but it took me days to get the used part. Probably other relays with these three pins will work too: google for "31 49 49A". Hope this is useful to other people who run into problems with the Daewoo Lanos indicator lights!

hi,i have 2002 Dewoo Lanos manual 5speed,but i get same sound from gear ???what can be it?

check the ff basic step
1. water tank shld have be sufficient water supply.
2. make sure the aux fun is working(engine side)

check your thermostat. and use antifreeze in right proportions. do not use regular water.

I have replace the ignition switch itself in Hondas that had starting problems. The switches were worn out.My idea is maybe they use a simular switch. Unfortunatly I think the last one I bought was like $55.00 retail. If you do a ignition switch make sure you disconnect the battery first.

there is a screw at the end of the throttle cable. get someone to rev the engine an your see it move.turn the screw anticlockwise and the idle should slow. clockwise will raise the idle speed.
