If you take it to autozone or one of those type places they can identify the problem with a code. Then you can go from there.
I had the same thing and when I changed my spark plugs that fixed it one of the six spark plugs was destroyed and bad. hope this helped
Destroyed? That's strange. Was it destroyed because it was fouled? Identify the cylinder that the spark plug was bad in. Do a compression check of that cylinder. If it fails then all the symptoms you are explaining is directily related to a misfiring cylinder. If you can remember what the spark plug looked like when it was destroyed. If it was destroyed gray and white and possibly cracked, then it was firing very hot...this is an air fuel mixture problem. If it was fouled dark, wet and oily it may be a compression problem with the cylinder...bad rings. If it was gouped with black tar it's a valve seal problem. If it is a air fuel misture problem, it just needs a computer tuned tune up. If it is rings, get a set of high performance plugs and start running a higher octane fuel so it burns hotter. If it is a valve seal, you can purchase an extention that raises the plug out of the cylinder protecting it from fouling. Actually, you can put this extention on a ring and valve seal problem. Keeps your plugs from fouling. Let me know.
Also, check your torque converter. That will cause these type problems. Check the transmission fluid. You have to start ruling out all these things. If the tranny fluid smells burnt there is a possibility that the blades in the torque converter are destroyed causing it to **** and make funny noises. Also, when it is engaged and the torque converter is bad it puts pressure on the engine as if you had a clutch and released it while hitting the brake. When it is in park, it is disengaged from the drivetrain.
