2004 (Y11) Nissan Pulsar manual transmission; 'Engine check light' in the dash board but doesn't flicks. when start the car it 'stalls' ie. once started and press the speed paddle sensor there is no change in the engine rep. replaced; speed paddle sensor which was faulty, MAFsensor, trottal body , vacuum sensor replaced but still the same fault.

drain and refill will take you about 4 quarts. a liter is 0.89 of a quart .... in other words a quart is almost 1/10th short ( a little less) of a liter. oil you could use any oil that compatible with the rating of the transmission.

lacking all key facts.
I go GENERIC (full bore)

the answer is super simple..
causes spark misfire. (and scanned PCM see P03xx errors DTC)

loss of engine horse power. and wasted fuel.
or engine dead. fully and no spark at ALL.

why worry it at all.??? if scans are clean this is it if CKP does not trip CKP errors DTC

must we guess all of these and if yes why?

the CKP and CMP sensors are the base line inputs for all spark and fuel injections and timing and timing advance of spark
if spark dies the PCM cuts all fueling dead( no crash&burns)

Have you checked you electrics ie spark plugs
Also is your engine management light on the dash

run fault codes and find which sensor is causing the problem. It is a good idea to heed the engine light immediately as it is there to advise you of something wrong that will cause damage to the engine or transmission

try disconnecting cable to transmission turn the shifter on transmission manually down there connect cable again start car try it if not try it again turn once then connect cable again then try it if not the transmission is not good

does it says, check engine? you need somebody to diagnose your car using the OBDII scan to check the codes and to know the problems.

try tapping computer should be left kick panel,they were know for computers packing up can get replacement very cheaply,when they stopped usually tapping computer would get it started,bad circuit boards,

It does sound like a gear box issue. 1st and reverse do share some hardware inside. Have a good transmission repair person take a listen to it if you can.
