Need to get the SWR;s set .or check to make sure the ends of the coax are tight . Mainly get the SWR set .Also if you run an Amp. then it will do it also. Theres no cure if you are running an amp. though .

Bought a used connex 4600T need info manual please help.bill

Bill what don't you understand about this radio? Its about a 190 watt radio depending on who convereted it. You should always run the mic gain and rf gain all the way up...all the way to the right...if your antenna system is good. The rf power is how much power you want it to hit. Like I said it shoud do up to 190 watts with the rf power all the way to the right. Channel band knob. D on most radios is your basic 40 channels..what most truckers run on it. Then if you go to the left C that will be 1st low B is double low A is triple low go to the right E you're going upstairs 1 and F is double high.E-Tone is your echo. I tell everone leave both around 10:00 depending on your voice TB is talkback this is if you want to hear yourself or use it to set up your echo.10k switch puts you between certain channels...leave this one off. nb/anl takes noise out of radio I would run this on at all times. And its a AM radio will not transmitt on FM don't use on FM and PA is if you put a PA speaker in the back. Hope this helps.

What color is what when installing a car stereo in a 91 Grand Marquis?

you can go to your nearst car audio shop and buy a harness that will plug into your factory plug, which will allow you to wire directly into it with your aftermarket radio harness which is color coded to match. the reason i recommend this is b/c some of the marquis are factory amplified. although i have included some wiring info for your car, be sure to test all wires with a digital meter first.

Hello,
The wires that feed the speaker are usually attached on the back of the conical part of the speaker. They are usually soldered on two terminals.
