The anti theft light is blinking, it turns over but wont start. Usually unplugging the battery resets everything and it will start right up, but this time nothing. I have put the key in the on position for 10 minutes then turned it off and tried to start it, and nothing, I have also put the key in the on position for 10 min and tried to start it without turning the key off first and still nothing. Then I tried to do a thing a friend told me to do with pumping the breaks a few times, and turning the key on then off over and over again, nothing works. Please what can I do to start my car.
Simple, free and doesn't hurt anything; Use ONLY your car's ignition key in the ignition - in other words, have NO other keys attached to the ignition key while in use.I had this same problem, increasingly worse (as I added keys to my car key ring). Finally, I seperated my ignition key from my other keys, and so far, no anti Theft problems!
If the light has not stop blinking when you wait ten minutes then it is not going to crank. My does it a lot but after 10 minutes the light has stopped blinking. I think that the ignition switch needs replacing or maybe just the key is worn out. I think when anybody goes to fix this GM problem it is a guessing game.

your problem is the ((body control module)) , and its location is behind the glove box. to make sure this is your bad part you have to disconect the negative battery and then unplug the ((bcm)) connectors and push them back in again .. conect the battery aagain and start your car,, if it happens again in the near future you are gonna have to change the bcm module and programm it by the dealer

This usually works.Lock the doors with the remote.Press lock twice sounding the alarm. Then press the unlock button twice.Your car should start now.If that doesnt work try this,Lock the car again with the remote once.Go over to the passenger side door and use the key to unlock the door then press in the door unlock all doors.Hopefully by now it worked. Now if none of these work your security probably malfunctioned and theres only two things that will work,One is disconnecting the battery for 5 mins then reconnecting.unlock doors.the start. If that doesnt work you'll have to take it to the dealer to get the security reset or replaced. The steps I have wrot you are the diagnostics to reset it.I hope these work for you and good luck.See ya had have a great day..

Folllow these steps:
turn ignition to "ON" (dont start the car)
leave it open for 10 minutes.
Turn ignition to "OFF" wait two seconds and turn it back to "ON"
leave it open for 10 minutes.
Turn ignition to "OFF" wait two seconds and turn it back to "ON"
leave it ope for 10 minutes.
Turn it on, start the car normally and have a safe trip. Your system has just relearnt the security passkey.

With the car RUNNING cut the yellow wire to the ignition switch from the group of three wires.
Make sure the car is RUNNING when the wire is cut.
Tape the ends and thats it.....the car will start first time from now on....as long as you don't mind not having anti theft.
