Is it 4 stroke or 2 stroke

Does it have a dipstick that indicates the amount of oil?
If it has, it is a 4 stroke and does not require an oil/fuel mix.
If it does not have a dipstick, it is a 2 stroke and will require a mix of oil and fuel.
Without knowing anything about your genset, I would think that it is a 4 stroke.
A 2 stroke motor would deliver the power too high in the rev range.

Do i put an oil/gas mixture in gas tank?

the 4 stroke engine only needs petrol in its tank . if your motor has a dipstick for oil it is a four stroke ,,only two strokes requires oil and petrol mix as they have no oil sump in their design

When I check oil dipstick has some white stuff looks kinda creamy, not alot but a little is on the dipstick. What is it? and how do I get rid of it? Thanks

This indicates water is getting into the oil. Bad news. It could be a faulty head gasket. You need a mechanic to identify and fix the problem.

Brught a Kaweasaki HE130A edger. Seller told me that it was two stroke. Looking at it appears to be 4 stroke. Tank filler cap says gasoline only. Is it 2 or 4 Stroke? Regards Kevin

Gasoline only usually means 4 stroke.
2 stroke requires a mixture of gasoline and 2 stroke oil'
Look for an oil filler cap on the equipment, no oil filler cap means 2 stroke.
If you have an oil filler cap there will be a dipstick therefore your kit will be 4 stroke.

Hope this helps'

I bought a 2006 Tomos A3550 used. Is it a 2 or 4 cycle engine?

almost certainly a 2 stroke but easy to confim, check to see if there are valves on the cylinder head, 2 strokes dont have any, check for an oil dipstick on the engine bottom casing again 2 strokes dont have an oil sump so no dipstick!

I have a Honda XR 600 R and i need to know where and what oil i need to pour into my bike? Its an air cooled 1986 model.

10w40 API SE or SF and higher, my manual for the 600 then has a typo and lists 1litre for an xr100, but I remember it is about 1.5 litres. It goes into the dipstick hole, you will need a small funnel. Get your oil from a bike shop, or auto store, but make sure is says suitable for 4 stroke motorcycles, as car oils have friction modifiers that will cause clutch slip. Good bikes but a little heavy in tight stuff compared to wr's etc

I have mud like stuff in my radiator

Mud like stuff? You mean oil like stuff? Is it white and greasy looking? This is not good. Check your oil for water, sounds like you have a head gasket going. Look for steam out the exhaust after it warms up. Drip some oil off the dipstick onto the hot exhaust and see if it sizzles, (water) oil will just smoke. Keep an eye on the temp gauge. Don't let it overheat. And shut it down if it does. A radiator shop can tell you if you have lost compression. Hope this helps.

Confused a little

A 4 stroke motor does NOT have Oil in the Fuel. There is NO fuel mixture. Just use regular gas. The only place you need oil is in the sump, and regular 20/30 motor oil will be fine. This only needs to be replaced when low on dipstick in crankcase.

Grand am

Condensation, water if you changed your oil lately don’t worry about it. It usually shows up on the top of the dipstick. Not much you can do about it unless you move to a desert.
