The oil level should be in the upper 1/3 of the window when you are done. the bike needs to be straight upright. after you have added the new oil, run the engine for 1 minute and then shut it off. Let the oil settle ( about 2 minutes ) and then check the level. Add until the level is in the upper 1/3 of the window.
