Question about Honda VTX 1800 Motorcycles
Check out this forum for some good tech info on the VTX
If you have been running high octane gas, it will foul the plugs on a VTX. They run cleaner on low octane fuel.
also the choke has a tendancy on some of these bikes to move out, so make sure it seats all the way down.

Have you changed the oil lately? If there is to much oil in the motor the bike will push oil up into the airbox and foul the air filter out. This will cause the bike to run rich. check the oil level and then drain any excess out to the proper level. You will need to clean or replace the air filter in order to make the bike run well.
