Hi, Jetski420 for this situation I would call my local dealer or reputable shop's service/parts department and inquire about any possible quick fix or parts inquiry. If necessary transport your vehicle to the dealer or shop and have a professional technician take it for a test drive, if it is in running condition, and give you a written estimate of repairs and answer any specific questions you may have about your issue. For more information about your issue please visit the website below. Good luck and have a nice day.

Install the rear wheel and adjust the belt to the proper deflection dimension and confirm that the rear wheel is properly aligned side to side.

Fitting instructions needed for Shimano Rd-Ty18-6-Gsd Bike Rear Derailleur with Bracket

The semi-circular spacer is what holds the derailleur in the dropout. Take the part that looks like a "C" and line it up on the drop out, the spacer goes on the other side of the dropout. There should be a screw that fastens to the spacer and clamps the derailleur to the drop out.

When you hold the clutch and put the motorcycle in gear it, takes off even with the clutch engaged, what could this be, the bike was laid on its left side before I got it. Its a kawaski 1981 650 csr

The clutch cable needs adjusting as the friction plates and spacers are not releasing correctly when you pull the clutch lever. You should buy a Chiltons or a Clymer manual for your make and model of Motorcycle. In it is the detail on the clutch and how to adjust and rebuild it. They are about 20 bucks. You may check with your local library as they have some issues of the manuals that may cover your particular bike.

I need an exploded view or instruction so I can install the front wheel onto the forks of my 1991 HD Ultra Classic. Anyone? Thanks

There shouldn't be anything to putting the front wheel on your bike. On each side of the wheel, there is a seal and a "spacer" inside the seal. If this is spacer is in the seal on each side of your wheel, put the wheel between the forks and slide the axle in. The large end of the axle pulls all the way in against the "spacer" on that side and this pulls the "spacer" on the other side tight against the fork on the other side. Tighten the axle nut to 50-60 foot pounds and the clamp bolts to 25 foot pounds of torque. If you still want a diagram, the best I can do is to direct you to this site. http://www.bikebandit.com Select OEM parts, then choose your bike and go to the drawing for wheels.

Hi, Est2rad1961 nice novella but all you needed was the bold print up top and what you mean your spelling is bad you only made 78 spelling errors no big scare I cleaned it all up for you at no charge, for this scenario you will need your service/owners manual if you can't find the first and best tool you ever bought for your Kawasaki, despair not, for a mere zero $ you can download another one. Need to know where clutch cable runs from tranny to fairring. need diagram

I don't think I've ever seen a diagram of the routing of the clutch cable. The cable comes from the left handlebar to the frame. It runs down the left side of the frame, between the front engine mount on the frame and the engine. Along the lower frame tube on the right side of the bike and up to the bottom of the chrome clutch release housing on the right side of the transmission. I hope this helps. Good luck

How do i install flt wheel and clutches on 2005 soft tail

Several important specs were left out of your question. First, what year model FLT wheel is it? Up until 2001, I think, all of Harley's axles were 7/8" in diameter. Then around that year sometime, they changed to one inch axle. You will have to measure the size of the inner race or the axle itself to find out if they are the same. If so, just gettting the correct lenght spacers for each side of the wheel is all that is necessary.

Next, you didn't say whether you were asking about a front wheel or rear wheel. Lots of differences there. Are the belt pulleys the same width. Later model bikes use narrower belts.

Next, by "clutches" I'm going to assume you're talking about brake calipers. There are no clutches on a wheel that I know of. Measure the diameter of the rotor and make sure it's the same as you original rotor. Once under the bike, make sure the spacing is correct for the caliper to sit about in the middle of it's side to side travel. It's best to use the wheel only, sans the pulley and rotors. measure the width of the hub and axle as compared to your original wheel. If they are the same, then move to the next item, rotor or pulley or both. Then get the wheel postitioned where it goes and measure for spacers. Good Luck and be careful

The cable will attatch to the back of the speedo, and attatch at the front wheel. You should have a speedo spacer installed on the left side of the rim ( between the tire and the front left fork leg ) . It screws into the spacer. then there is a little locking set screw to hold the cable from unscrewing itself.
