SOURCE: Size drive chain Ducati monster 695 (2006) 520?

I don't know but I'd think the info you seek would be clearly marked on the chain itself or you could always measure the thickness of the sprocket surely it would be between a 520 and 530

SOURCE: chain tension

Most any motorcycle comes with an adjustable chain device on the rear swing arm. as you adjust the small nut inwards towards the front of the bike, it tightens the chain. Likewise for loosening. the adjuster should have increment markings on both sides of the swingarm to even the wheel out. Now I can't say for sure that this is the case with your bike, so I just joined a website that has a forum on these bikes. If you'd like to join as well here is the address http://www.ducati.ms/ I'll get the info from them and relay it back to you. Hope this helps

SOURCE: chain tension

HI, you will need a C spanner, behind the rear sprocket is the adjuster,it is the ring with the cutouts in it, first loosen the two bolts on the end of the swinging arm then move the ring in a clockwise direction to tension the chain, if you are very carefull you can do this with a punch and hammer but be carefull, have fun

SOURCE: Chain touching the swing arm

Hi ..... Welcome to the 'custom' world ! As you've discovered changing one thing leads to another. The chain angle has changed due to the shock length. You could try going to a breakers and buy another chain guide rubber ? More involved solutions could be to off set gear box sprocket, intermediate chain tensioner pully, go back to stansard shocks (which is main problem) and widen rear mudhuard/fender (which as you can weld isn't a big issue) or make up a 'tunnel' out of a round or square section of nylon and allow the chain to run through it. Let us know how you get on.

SOURCE: how do i adjust the chain on a ducati multistrada

You pull it of course. Nach... first put the bike on its centre stand then look at the end of your swing arms (both) there should be an adjuster where you loosen the bolt/nut and slide it back toward you by wheel axle. It normally tells you if you are in the same distance for both side. Tighten the bolt/nut and off you go.

Drive chain adjustment

To adjust the chain you need to make sure you make the adjustment with the swing arm parallel to the ground, (this is the tightest point in the arc of the swing arm moving rotation), at that point you want to be able to put two finger between the chain and the swing arm at the swing arm pivot bolt. This will insure proper adjustment every time. The best thing to do is have somebody sti on the bike off the stand to make sure the swing arm is at its MAXIMUM arc, otherwise you stand a significant chance of over tightening it and this can and WILL cause SERIOUS damage to your engine. You will rip the output shaft bearings out of the center cases.
You also want too make sure you have proper wheel alignment as well. There are marks on the rear of the swing arm for adjusting the chain, make sure you have the marks on the adjusters in the same location on BOTH sides of the swing arm.
Please let me know if you need further assistance.
