Yamaha V star Final Drive shaft

The drives for a 650 and an 1100 are different part numbers, so it probably wouldn't fit.

However, you can buy what parts you need to replace here:

Have a 04 Yamaha V Star 1100 Classic, want to install Cobra Slip On Drag Pipe exhaust, is it necessary to have bike jetted?

It is not essential but the static timing may need to be advanced slightly to compensate for the different back pressure.

I just purchsed a Yamaha V Star Classic 1100. No manual accompanied the bike. How do I get to the battery under the seat? Thanks

THE BATTERY ISN'T UNDER THE SEAT. THERE IS A CHROME COLORED PLASTIC PLATE ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE BIKE, SIMPLE TO REVOVE.

Where does the oil come out of a 2004 Yamaha 1100 VStar Classic

Oil drain plug is located near the bottom of the engine, left side toward the front. The oil filter element is located on the right side of the engine under the cover toward the front. Changing the oil filter usually requires removal of the front exhaust pipe. There is an aftermarket filter relocation kit that replaces the filter element with a spin on filter that mounts on the front of the bike.

Change oil in 2004 Yamaha V Star 1100 Classic, procedure?

i think the oil filter is at the front behind a round finned cover, if you find the drain plug it should be right above it, it shoud tell you how much oil it takes right next to the filler
