Lubricate all parts with H-D 20w50 engine oil during assembly.

Working from the oil pump housing:
1. Wide gerotor Set (scavenge)
Slide the wide georotor set into the crankshaft until it bottoms in the housing.
2. Separator plate. Slide plate onto crankshaft until it contacts the wide georotor.
3. Narrow georotor (feed)
Slide the narrow georotor set into the crankshaft until it contacts the separator plate.

2005 dyna low rider shuts down

It must be something about oil pressure. Or there is massive oil leek so you are on low oil level again or something with oil pump or filter.

I have a 2000 dyna low rider, the backing plate for the chain adjuster came lose after reseting the screws, engine runs gratebut if i put it in to any gear it does not move,, but also seems hard to get in to...

I had asked for clarification on the "does not move", and said you may have parts from the tensioner between the chain and sprockets. Sorry, this cannot be, since you said the engine runs fine. Again, sorry. Does your transmission clunk or grind when going into gear? OR, does it not make any noise at all when putting it in gear? You say hard to get in gear when you shift? I think I need some more info to help you with this.

2003 HD Low Rider. Went to crank and gas+oil

sounds like stuck needle valve if it's carbureted, letting the gas run into the engine filling it up,has to go somewhere if its full, you need to drain it out, don't try to start it,with all that gas in the oil it will not get proper lubrication resulting in engine damage.Shut off the fuel valve or it will continue to run into the engine.Hope this helps
