1997 ninja bike carburator keeps flooding how do i fix it

The reason it is flooding out is your BOWL FLOAT Needle SEAT is not closing it off. You need to clean your CARB and change out your Needle if it is not working properly.

Hi, yes check the needle, seat and float and blow out the carby, basically with the bowl off and the float held level no fuel should flow past the needle, also check that the air filter is not blocked. Regards Phil

Battery turns engine over, but doesn't fire... sparks and plug. o.k. then floods carburetor and plug

Sounds like a float sticking in your carburator, this will allow it to keep accepting fuel, overflowing the bowl.

Flooding problem.

Carburator Floats are Stuck or GasLogged. May also be the Pilot Needles.
Try Cleaning and Inspecting the Carbs First, May just be a Piece of dirt holding the Float Open allowing the Gas to keep flowing.
