How to change kickstand spring

this depends on design of side stand - usually the easiest way is to remove the side stand pivot bolt remove side stand from channel., attach spring to both ends. pull side stand into pivot hole and reinstall bolt. there is less tension and easier to install if you orient side stand in retracted position..

How to install jaguar masqot leaper on x-type

Under the hood is a nut under the leaper, with a small spring, remove this nut and you can remove the leaper from the outside of the hood., then to the inverse procedure to install the new leaper, but be sure to fit right the spring, it bring torsion to the leaper, otherwise the leaper wont stand firm and it will be moving to the sides.

I have a jammed Honda 600 Transalp centre stand. Can anyone help ?

I have just fitted a main stand to my Transalp 650 , if by jammed you mean rusted i think the only way would to remove it ! if thats the case you would have to remove the springs take out the split pin and tap the main bar out , grease well and fit back using two screewdrivers , use a larg phillips and a small flat screwdriver, lever the large spring down to the spring holder with the phillips and then then flip it onto the spring holder using the small flat screwdriver, then i used some strong cord to pull the small spring down onto the same spring hook ( holder)

Bike stand doesn't return

Yes , it may require some light lubricating at around the stand but first you will need to clean up throughly around the stand fittings better to use WD40 and thn some mineral oil as lubricant.
Not bad too to check the spring of its tension!
Hope this helps!

How do you fit vespa t5 stand spring

The easiest way to wrestle a spring on a kickstand is to hook one side on then get a strong plastic zip tie, fasten it into a circle and grab the other end of the spring with it and pull the spring up and over the retaining peg.. a ZIP tie not a twist tie ok?....good luck to you...Tim
