Hi,using a small pick, push between shaft and seal and carefully pull out the old seal, (tip) you could tilt the bike over on the opposit side this will save you having to remove the engine oil,,when the seal is removed check condition of gear shaft check for any foreing objects that may damage your new seal, clean up shaft and then replace your seal, pushing it firmly and square into the case with your thumbs, do not use any sharp instrument, hope this helps,, paul
