Question about Yamaha WR 450 F Motorcycles
Hello and welcome to Fixya, We can start here with a few suggestions, but we may need your model and year if this does not help you. First remove your spark plug and put the plug cap back on. Now lay it against your head or cylinder, just make sure its getting a good ground to engine, now turn the engine over and watch plug to see if it sparks. If it does the problem is elsewhere and I will need further info to help you. If it does not spark, check your plug cap, make sure its not loose on plug wire, try turning it clockwise to make sure its tight. Next you will need a multimeter and do a resistance test between your plug cap and your primary on your coil, then from cap to ground. Then test to see if your getting power to your coil with your meter. If your still stuck, before we go any further let me know what model and year you have and I will get your problem solved and get you back riding! Thanks for using Fixya, look forward to hearing back so we can get you running again. CycleWorx157
