Hello and welcome to Fixya, I would first do a compression test on each cylinder, then a leakdown test to be sure theres no problem there. When did the problem start? Before you replaced belt? After? Has the bike been sitting for any length of time? I would start with making sure its in time, then making sure your getting good fuel flow to carbs. I will be happy to diagnose this issue further for you. Give me some more info so we can get you up and running again. Thanks for using Fixya, CycleWorx157

My 2004 Pajero 3.8V6 Aut looses idling when I stop at a stop street. Starts fine afterwards but idling then up and down when in gear.

sounds like fuel filter or fuel pump issues I'd start with no fuel filter to see if this fixes the idle, then if thats not it do a complete exam on your lines and vacum hoses for leaks and cracks, lastly your fuel pump(In Gas tank) would be the problem ,, more often than not it is an old /bad fuel filter, any cracks or pinholes in vacum lines causes air locking but rarely is so locked as to completely stop it from running but will affect how even it runs. So first FILTER, 2nd.Fuel/vacum lines, and lastlt Fuel pump.

Why wont my 1993 isuzu run without a air filter

I have a 1993 isuzu pickup and because of the design of the carburator and the polution control there are so many vacum lines that without the air filter the vacum, is off just a tip I had lost my air filter cover and was having carburator problems I bought a new weber carburator came with its own air filter was able to plug up alot of the vacum lines runs alot better better gas mileage was only 270 on ebay
if it's not running right check the vacum hose's
hope that helps good luck

Have a 1999 Pontiac Bonneville using too much gas

it sounds like a bad purge valve. if the diaphram in side it goes bad it will **** fuel into the intake through the vacume line attached to it, check it by removing the vacume line and look for signs of fuel. if its bad it can also fill you charcoal canister with raw fuel

Windstar 2000 no vac at the booster-have great vac at the carb. just have regular brakes , no power brakes. don't believe to have a leak or at least one that I can hear engine runs fine

Check vacum at brake booster if you have vacum there bad brake booster, if you don't follow vacum line check there, vacum line should go to intake, if you do have vacum replace vacum hose.

Jeep wont hardley idle ..when speed gets up to about 30mi. it runs great. about six months we replaced distributor, s.p.wires, s.plugs, fuel filter, fuel pump, air filter, some vacuum hoses. been fine...

Sounds like a possibility of a vacuum leak. Inspect the vacuum tubing for damage or wear or just not being connected. One mechanic's trick is to spray carburetor cleaner on the vacuum lines with the engine running. Use safety goggles when trying this. If there is a vacuum leak - when the carb cleaner hits it the engine will speed up.
