Delphi is referencing to a type of fuel injection system that Harley uses. They've used two type and Delphi is one of them. I can't remember the other one but I believe it was an earlier unit. I know nothing about Harley's fuel injection. Sounds like the filter will fit either a carburated engine or a fuel injected engine.

Good Luck

Dirty air filter....Gunk in carbs..course spark plugs and wires. I would take the air duct loose from carb and spray bottle throttle spay directly in carb while accelerating gas throttle with hand.As the car tries to die down let go of the spray. Repeat 3 or 4 times. It will run alot better. Warning.....dont buy carburetor spray because it eats up your seals in carb......Remember buy bottle throttle spray only.

Im trying to find the proper spike air cleaner to fit my 2001 fatboy, but i do not know what style carb it has. was just wondering how to find out what i need

The original carb for the '01 Fatboy was the Keihen CV carb. There are several aftermarket carbs available but if your bike is basically stock in reference to the induction system, the bike has the Keihen carb. Look on the side of the carb, you'll have to take the air filter backing plate off to see the side of the carb.

Good luck

My yamaha yzf600 sat for 3 years, it will idle but dies when i give it throttle, it has new gas, fuel filter, sprayed carb cleaner in carbs!! new air filter.

You'll need to disassemble your carbs and manually clean the jets, and ensure that if you have CV-type carbs, you can see all the needle holders rising when you roll on the throttle.

I WONNA PUT POD FILTERS ON 1981 CSR 1000 WOULD 52MM BE OK

measure the intake diameter, the pod sizes depend on the size they need to mount to.
If the bike has cv carbs, with the vacumn diaphram that opens the slides, they work better sucking on still air ie: standard box. to see if you have cv carbs twist the throttle, with the engine off and see if the carb slides open. cv carbs rely on intake vacumn to open them

Changing air filter

hello, lots of older triumps air filter were bolted on the back of carbs, i believe the newer ones is under the seat in a box, just about where the driver sets. also i would put new plugs in too, another thing is , run the mid grade gasoline, nothing that has methanol in it. the other gasoline that their making now is clogging up the jets in carbs, lots of people having problems with carbs that are stopped up because of what their putting in gas these days i was told buy a harley davidson mechanic to run the mid range gas in atvs, motorcycles, lawnmowers, car, so on.

Will cleaning my Troy-Bilt TB25CS carburetor heal it?

Since the air from the air filter does not go through the carb, the carb cleaner will not either. If you remove the carb and spry all of it that you can get to, you may get the plug. If you were to open the carb and go through it and clean it you would need to get new gaskets and maybe that will do the job. You may be able to adjust the carb. There is a "hi" and "low" setting. Try adjusting the "hi"...Lee

CRF230 - Throttle won't turn. Can see the cable moving at the carb but the carb won't move. Also, have gas coming out of the overflow.

The overflow problem is a carb float being stuck open. Turn off the gas and drain the offending carb(s). Next, turn the gas back on and sharply tap the float bowl with the plastic handle of a screwdriver as the fuel bowl refills. The goal here is to vibrate the float to free it up. If doing this process a couple of times doesn’t free the float I would remove the offending carb(s) and clean with a spray carb cleaner. By the way, Check the float, it could be filled with gas instead of air. Clean the air filter then re-mount carb(s). Next, remove the water trap bowl at the bottom of the petcock, (gas valve). Dump it, clean it and re-mount it, ( not all bikes have a water trap bowl ). Install an in-line fuel filter.

The lack of movement in the carb slide is either a bad cable or the the carb is a CV model. The slide on a CV carb will not move unless the motor is running. Start the motor. Does it speed up normally when you twist the grip? If so, then there is nothing to worry about.
